Some women seem to really be attracted to wide leather bands (like wrist cuffs) with a Panerai mounted to it.
I suppose it all depends on what turns that particular woman's crank. classy/macho/bling ... different watches for different types of "ladies"
Only several months ago I paid $180 for a UPO from a dealer on another forum. It's not that the watches are more expensive .. it's that some dealers are more ... than others.
Before you ask, he's closed his doors due to burn-out so .. can't help ya.
As far as I know, x7750 all change in a slow progressive manner as part of their design.
ETA and Asian clone 28xx movements snap over instantly. Different design.
The POrikaa comes in 42 or 45 and is a "budget" watch, @ 99usd for the 42mm .. it's a very good watch with an A21j movement for the price. The UPO is almost triple the cost, only comes in 45mm and will accept genuine parts.
Apparently his home town was flooded out and he's having communications issues. I'd give him a bit of time to get things sorted out unless you are very patient. I know he's an established and well-liked dealer but he's currently having an issue.
My current favorite among many is Gran's Crazy Hours in silver on custom double hornback. I'll add more as I find more pics of the member's watches I covet I can tell you that JoJo, gioarmani, Lani, and Ubi are going to figure prominently in this rogue's gallery.
P4GTR's UN Maxi
By-Tor's glacier blue dial Day-Date (for the Mrs, not me)
If this is the watch Trevor is shipping, then it looks to me to be a normal v5 DSSD, same as 2009's model, which it still a solid watch. As long as they are past the crooked printed dial batch that sank Eurotimez.
It looks to be the exact watch model I received in July 2009. (v5.0) You can see in my watchbox picture gallery the pearl close-up which also shows the bezel insert is a fraction of a mm too thick, just like this watch.
The Asian 21j (2813 and 4813) are workhorses. There is nothing wrong with their design. Sometimes their assembly .. but not their design
Some people don't care for their coarse gear feel, when wound.
The shadowy latest Rolex DSSD v5 2010 comes from the MBK Mall, according to Highhozumdee ... um whatever his user name is All the goodness of a v5 plus semi-gloss dial and a much better pearl.
Every rep DSSD I have seen has the case back retention ring standing 1.5 threads proud of the case body. It's not just your watch. It's all of them.
As for the Rolex crown stamped clasp guard not mating flush, again ... many rep DSSDs have this same issue. The pearl ... well you knew that was a problem.
It sounds like your watch is a common example; nothing un-expected for this version.
Im not sure what you mean by taking off the bezel insert and finding that it's "cut" ..
