  1. Im afraid that this line of thinking is totally wrong. You "go Swiss" because of the availability of repair parts. The Swiss movements are sitting in open air in the replica factory with hair, grit and dust floating all around them, the same as the clone movements. If you are looking at that SW200 on a computer screen (not a phone or ipad) you can see it's full of hair.
  2. You must double encase it in a condom and swallow it.
  3. it sounds like you need a real watch maker to make a new stem for you, using your broken stem as a template. using higher-quality metal, this time.
  4. You could shoot an email to GKLONER at GMAIL dot COM ... he's up in MN, and is a trusted watch technician on RWI. He's professional, well-mannered and good at what he does: servicing, repair, and light modding.
  5. Maybe go plexiglas for his next piece?

    BK DSSD

His TW Best Sub is definitely magic. Imagine having the balls to create a business relationship with a Chinese factory and custom design a new, better modern submariner dial all on you own. He's got a lot of talent.
  7. So where are you in the World, so we may recommend the closest modder? Oh ... Can you source the replica parts or do you need a genuine bezel insert to fit? I understand this is tricky.
  8. His mom smashed his crystal ;( I had to replace the watch. He's 17.

    BK DSSD

Holy f'ing crap. I know BK is awesome. He's an honest guy and does a good job. Please let's not make up fairy tales. He re-sells the noobfactory ultimate DSSD. He adds his lovely custom date wheel. There is no magic rehaut or clasp or other damn BS. Please !!!

    BK DSSD

408$ ?? Are you sure you at not looking at the super clone Rolex movement, and not the Swiss ETA? Not even PC overcharges that much ...
  11. The a21j version of the 42mm Planet Ocean is not 1:1 like the much more expensive UPO models. It's perfectly fine tho.

    BK DSSD

BK imports the noobfactory ultimate DSSD and puts his custom date wheel into it. Do you super-care about the date wheel, to spend an additional 200 to 300 dollars on the watch? Asian ETA clone is about 230.
  13. A lot of folks don't talk about WBK. He deals in a21j and quartz only, and ships from the USA with a 90 day warranty. I received this today, to replace my son's which had been dropped quite a long way. It's identical to Narikaa's beginner PO 42mm and comes $120 shipping in the USA inclusive.
  14. The Cartier came from a member in Bermuda, and had been used in water. The DSSD had been serviced and lumed by the Zigmeister so I trusted it implicitly. The BR 02 was serviced by The Katt so I trusted it. The Aquaracer 500m was WR tested by Vaccum while he had it for lume and AR. 7ATM passed! The 1680 franken was from builder/modder W0lf so I trusted that. The Superocean was serviced by Bikemike .. So either these pieces were built by talented modders, were serviced by a watchmaker, or came with assurances from a trusted seller.

  18. My wife or I wear while swimming or showering: Cartier Pasha Sea Timer Breitling SuperOcean Omega Planet Ocean 42 and 45 Rolex 1680 Submariner Tag Aquaracer 500M Rolex Sea Dweller Deepsea Bell & Ross 02 PVD Bell & Ross 01 - 94 chrono
  19. Metal chips in the movement are why people have their watches fully serviced. It's all part of the replica game.

    MBK SD?

MBK is the name of a shopping mall in Bangkok. There are watches/watch vendors there which are famous for their quality.
  21. Excellent work, and a great photo essay.
