  1. Dayum! This is sick. Super jealous. Wear it well
  2. I'm sure you can find a 16750 matte dial for sale, than the only physical difference is the hand stack.
  3. Just ordered... Are these coming with gaskets or is that a separate order kind of thing? This will be going in my Ginault which is an exact homage of the 16610. Almost bought a gen crystal but it was $300+! Thanks again
  4. Thanks, I bought it from Jacek a long with the 1675 Pepsi. He buys them by the bunch... It's worth asking him. It was actually a mint condition insert... I artificially aged it myself. Drano Max does wonders. I would NOT pay those ridiculous prices these faded inserts are going for.
  5. Yeah, I am not sure if they had transition service dials for the 1675 like they did for the 1680. Worth a look into though.
  6. Honestly... You may be able to find the gen with no bracelet for $3,500 or less as service dials usually bring down the value quiet a bit. Fairly affordable... But you can probably get a build done for $1,200 or so. I know zig can lume hands that match Rolex service dials perfectly.
  7. Yes! Not sure if it looks as cool as the 1680 service dial but you can definitely get a 1675 service dial with luminova without the WG hour markers. It's the 16750 that has the service dial like the 5513.. the not as cool luminova service dials with WG surrounds.
  8. $5k minimum. Any other pics though?
  9. blue dial and army uniform? What you are lookin for is a Tudor Snowflake.
  10. If you got a $1k to spend... is it possible to make this build happen? I am not up to date on the accuracy of these dials though. Would NDT be my best bet? From the looks of it... it ain't that bad. I would get it relumed though... i like the white creamy color better. And Pre V... did you say you can make this bezel insert happen? The texture on this gen is amazing. Meters first.
  11. Damn that's hot. Great build and part selection.
  12. Haha. Can't fool you guys. Beautiful pieces in this thread. I love it.
  13. Wow. That is tempting indeed. Great condition at a fair price. Jacek is a fantastic dealer. I've talked to him on the phone a few times and he's definitely a straight shooter. Would definitely do business with him again. For that price ya might as well spend a bit more and get a snowflake though.
  14. Offer $9k if you looking to sell it. $15k is a premium! he's asking way too much. Especially if he's trying to sell it to a jeweler. I would tell him good luck selling it.
  15. I'm just amazed by the ignorance here. You honestly think concepta makes that much doing this? I paid $1,600 for an all gen XVI. If somebody here can replicate what he does for a lower price please do!
  16. wow... it's already $27k. The seller must be crapping his pants right now.
  17. Thank you for the detailed post! Yeah, if I have to mod a gen part I won't do it and yes, it would definitely kill the market value. Thinking about buying a couple after market bezel assembly though. I may run into the issue with the crystal and insert fitting but I'm sure nothin a bit of sanding will fix. I'll look more into the idea but I've always wanted a bakelite bezel! Thank you for making such an affordable opportunity to own one. The NDT bezel inserts are just too spendy.
  18. Wow. This is truly amazing. While delivering the watch to the wrong address was no doubt his fault I find your apartment to be the true thieves. I would have called ten times a day and badgered them until they came up with something. I mean... Somebody STOLE your watch! I've ordered a concepta genestein Mark XVI before and yes, his time management and communication blows. After 9 weeks though... He delivered as promised. Refunding AND offering to build you a port is going well above his call of duty. I mean he's losing easily over $3k over this ordeal. And yes, concepta sources parts and sends them to his watchmaker.. He doesn't build them himself. He probably rarely, if ever, sees the finished product before shipment. Anyways, I would totally still buy a genestein from him. Beyond his communication issues and wait time he's still a man of his word. Your also getting a brand new gen for half the cost.
  19. Just want to make sure... Would this fit a genuine 1675 bezel? I have a gen 1675 and this would be a sweet mod. Looks thick, I feel like it may look weird in the gen bezel.
  20. Yup... GMT Master with no bezel. Pretty bad ass. Great movie!
  21. Never heard of teachers using Facebook to get a message to their students ... Nor have I heard of a teacher making that mandatory. Scary if true but I don't believe it. Schools prefer that teachers are not to be friends with their students on FB as its too much risk. I used blackboard in college. I agree with freddy but again, nobody cares. It seems they want to show everybody their interests, fav movies, music, food... Proof of self worth is more important than privacy. It's sad really.
