It's going to be a tough week for watch selection for me as I just got these back from their Ziggification: As a community we are very lucky to have the service of these great peeps. Thansk J & R! You've made my day/week/month! DSSD VS UPO?

Are all the Calibre 1's the same version?
mastrmindalliance replied to bonecollector's topic in The Tag Heuer Area
Cool! If you are after the one in my review: .1-pc8838.com/tgca00103-calibre-vintage-ssru-black-asia-6498-p-8231.html (paste after www.) if that doesn't work you can search for this: TGCA00103 It's the very last item in the "new" section. Also, I heard the other revision was based on the V1 with same thicker bezel, so the the only one with the correct bezel is the one the Cartel calls "V2". The one above. Good luck! -
Are all the Calibre 1's the same version?
mastrmindalliance replied to bonecollector's topic in The Tag Heuer Area
There is a V1 and a V2. The V1 has a bezel that is too thick. I paid $198 for my v2 (josh). Hope it helps! Great watch. -
Agreed, I thought they'd lost it with slanted retro-y font a few months back but most of these are even more hideous (IMO). Does that first SOH have a super dark green/emerald bezel insert?

went gen yesterday, but sporting this today:

A quick (and interesting) dial comparison
mastrmindalliance replied to ubiquitous's topic in The Rolex Area
A couple days out in the hot Queensland sun would sort that custom out. -
You know what, I'm sure the amount of writing on the topics (due to popularity) probably infers that the PO and SOSF rep are in the top five. But in my nearly year long experience (which is nothing, but enough to learn a little and read a lot) this is not actually the case for accuracy to gen. You've got all the Sinns, the SOH V2 and some other Breits, the FM's, a couple MB's that I know for a fact that are more 'accurate' to gen than the PO and SOSF. There are probably many more. I hear good things about some vintages and even the tag Calibre1 is super accurate. Perhaps its that the the UPO and SOSF are sooo popular that they've been picked to shreds but it seems regardless of their popularity there are many many reps more accurate out there... Just touching on one point of your post. I'll let the experts touch on the others.

Just an update from my preferred dealer: Apparently the "ult" won't be available for some months... With that in mind I've ordered the asian and will either pass it on to my bro when the Ult arrives or not if I decide the Plop (hehe) is not for me.

You're right, in fact it's beyond midday Thursday here... Wearing a custom Getat today:

Which screws for Torobravo CG?
mastrmindalliance replied to mastrmindalliance's topic in The Panerai Area
No, and I'm starting to get a bit [censored] off about it. Seems the concensus is that the orig screws should fit. I'm thinking I have a dud. TB seems to have wiped his hands of it - simply saying post a topic... I did that and the responses (and PM's) have been that everyone just uses the orig screws. here are the pics that are being ignored: from the side, this is as far as it will screw in: With the lever "closed" And the screws in question, they measure 2.98mm and you actaully see the size difference inh the CG's - TB's on left BTW, I've also been told that Jackons screws are the same as Getat ones I've tried - they don't fit. -
Yes, do yourself a HUGE favour and get one of OS's springbar bending tools. Completely solved the problem for me, I gave them a little wrap regarding the nightmare PO (and FM's) over here: watchbitz's spring bar bending tool.

For me, the whole point to reps is being able to buy many instead of just picking one gen (or maybe a couple). The upside to this is that you can test drive the gen with the reps. following the topic principle though...I guess if I _had_ to pick just one - it would be one that I would never buy the gen of.

Does it wear comfortably? The gen is a MAJOR surprise to wear as - for such an angular brick of a watch it's very comfortable on the wrist...

Problems with Sinn watches asian mvmt?
mastrmindalliance replied to gtanak's topic in Other Brands Area
It's my understanding that all 2813's with big seconds hand skip - I read or was otherwise informed that it's the nature of the movement. -
Well then, Im glad i fell asleep before ordering the 'swiss' version last night. Will wait for Ult.

Which screws for Torobravo CG?
mastrmindalliance replied to mastrmindalliance's topic in The Panerai Area
Sorry, I gotta bump this as i have seventy quid worth of CG just sitting there and many seem to think the existing cartel screws should fit... So a new question, what your experience with TB CG's - did you have to find new screws or did your existing ones fit? Thanks in advance for _any_ further input. as I am starting to be concerned that i received a a dud... ( have gotten one topic posting and two PM's saying the old screws should fit) -
Which screws for Torobravo CG?
mastrmindalliance replied to mastrmindalliance's topic in The Panerai Area
Thanks guys, contacted TB straight away, he said he'd check for any spare he had, then got back to me asking to post a topic in his section at RG - which i have now done. I have also tested a fourth kind of screw from my street bought GMT (which turns out to be this one - http://www.1-pc8838.com/pn16101-marina-ssss-asian-2813-functional-p-8807.html) Still no go. Jackson will have the same screws as Getat won't he? Will definitely look into and very much appreciate your advice! Bummer was hoping to get this on for a do tonight as my fave reps outside of this are both with Zig. -
Hi I received my CG from Torobravo today (for Pam220), but have a bit of a problem... I have tested the three different types of screws I have - two different types of cartel and a fiddy style screw from a Getat watch and none of them fit, the screw heads are either too wide in circumference or too tall. There are plenty of places selling them, can anyone recommend a screw that will fit the Torobravo CG ? Thanks for reading and any advice!
