  1. Hehe, sry Ken. i should have mentioned that the Cartier takes gen MB refills BTW... haven't tried Cartier ones. The cartier is the better looking - more authentic/believable of the two. While I'm at it I should also mention that difference between the rep and gen refills really is negligible. Very hard to tell using or viewing the pen with rep Vs, gen refill comparision... if anything the rep one feels minutely 'scratchy' to write with. But i could be tripping, was very hard to tell after full compare...
  2. The MB etiole that i just bought from josh which looks just like this takes gen refills. Bought three (black, blue and felt gen refills) and they all fit, even though his site doesn't say they will. So does the cartier for that matter
  3. Thanks for the link, it doesn't mention however that the atomic solar feature makes this (arguably of course) the most accurate watch in the world. So besides all the good things it has going for it on it's own - this feature makes it very handy for collectors of mechanical watches - like us!
  4. Ooh burn. Don't forget to start whinging about how loud the birds are/ how the kids are crap these days/ about how you gave the world everything and should be winning at sport and to become covertly racist while pretending to be passionate for equal rights for everyone - including the noisy birds and the trees they live in.
  5. Better than what they have already
  6. Yes. Move to Manchester.
  7. Congrats on an excellent choice! Plai - if you have a good memory you'll remember that I love this watch - my favourite ever G (and I am a proper G fan). Here's mine: Didn't know it made Time's Top ten gadgets though - excellent, thanks for the info!
  8. In my recent trip to KL, Malaysia after some digging I found reps of the same quality (and I mean exactly). I can only assume that in their birthplace, it would be same, so... Yes, they can be had for slightly cheaper - for much more legwork, hard work with haggling and the language problems that go with it. BUT, there is of course no recourse buying on the street. Here you can can have DOA's and major faults fixed as part of our trusted dealer service. IMHO, buy junky street reps for fun, or maybe parts (?) and for quality buy from our dealers.
  9. Hehe, I started a topic like this for my first order - seriously - I think it was entitled exactly the same! Everyone^^ is right. Here in Australia you will get it (handed to customs) twice unless you live in Sydney. So, it will be "handed to customs" at the major port in your in country, and probably then again as it reaches your State (province, area etc). You'll have it in a few days! Nice avatar Tiffany
  10. Australia is a great place to live (second highest standard of living in the world after Norway i believe) but not when it comes to wristy's at RWG. It's Friday here now, so this will prolly get canned shortly after i post. but been woprking from home this week, so thursday I changed watches like a chick changes her mind... I wristmired all of these on Thursday: It's funny, I had a large collection of gens before discovering this place, still do, but now they rarely get wrist time. It's not cos I like them less and they're certainly not lower quality... I've just been enjoying my reps more. Today, Friday, I'm wearing the pam 220 ult (last pic above). It's waiting on OP CG and palp crown, then of to ziggers for the full treatment!
  11. Josh is now showing GMT's with this new bracelet - the look just like mine^^ Page five of his new items.
  12. Calibre one finally on decent leather:
  13. I agree completely with the ... And Justice thing The whole metal genre could have given up after that album. They perfected it and there will never be a better metal album IMHO. TBH the Black album is not so bad - but Load and forwards? Booo. The best thing they've done since And justice is getting Suicidals' Rob Trujillo (seriously - if you like metal you should check out ST - Robs first band) on board and getting Lars to STFU about napster.
  14. Im Ok. RU OK URkuk?
  15. Nice one! And I hadn't fitted my black rubber to my pumpkin yet because, well, I thought it would look crappy. Now I know it doesn't. Thanks! Congrats on the build!
  16. Ooooh, that's beAutiful. *Must.Acquire.Night.Monster*
  17. Nice dogs guys! here's mine. A blue Staffordshire Terrier. Her full name is "Aceblue I Am All Magic" for those in the know (no I didn't name her hehe - but Magic for short is great name): Magic with Boxer friend, and a ridgeback cross:
  18. I have a probs with my Sinn U1 and FM CCK. I unbuckle and tuck strap bands under. Then I roll them forward on pillow (hard to decribe - but off centre from back to front). Doesn't look so neat but lets me close the box.
  19. ohhhh... so you mean like the UBlack? (was promised october, then "before xmas" then "no word yet sir")
  20. Haha, That^ is what I used to do - roll one sock into a ball to fit inside watch strap like a watch box pillow, and then double fold another around whole watch. I had also been using the wooden hard case that comes with the steel Swatches (they are great for one watch travel BTW). But now I'm using the attached, they're cheap but very good and protective. I would have bought better qual (for example i really like the orange Pam ones from Josh) but Acetimer gave me two of these for free because my watchbox order was delayed. Even though they say for one watch only, they actually take two if placed correctly and without clashing. If I was paying for them i wouldn't complain, well built - awful colour - but only cost a tenner and i beleive they're somewhat water proof!
  21. The DSSD is large, but because of its balance, it doesn't make you look puny. It "Wears smaller" than some watches that are actually smaller. because of it's balanced dimensions Get one - you won't be dissapointed!
  22. I know I've said it before, but that, is a friggin beautiful watch dude. Congrats!
  23. I don't think many over fifties will be listening to my choices back a page... Interestingly, I actually met and hung out with Suzie (Siouxsie) after The Creatures played RockWorld in Manchester 1995. I was really surprised to find that she's actually really reserved, quiet and perhaps even shy. Great chick though, we had a blast!
  24. 113 on white today:
