Wow! Some lovely watches, have never gone for these classy dress watches but you have changed my mind... Though a question about the tourbillon. Does it have real functionality? Thought i read somewhere, on reps they were just exposed balance wheels? Congrats though, they are all beautiful! I'm heading over to Josh's now to check em out!

Thanls guys! Very much appreciated. I will go with the Ultimate. Hopefully, soon I'll know my Pams and won't have to keep asking for help with my nubbery. Just one more thing - PeteM - I already have the bracelet. I bought it on the street in KL, Malaysia after asking every single dealer we have to no avail. Hope our dealers get their hands on it soon/ rep it themselves because someone out there is already repping it, and its very VERY good. In fact, it's probably the best rep bracelet I own! Well finished in all aspects and superb flush screws. Wheaton - thanks again, I know you'd already mentioned it but didn't want to dig up anf old post just to ask.

I wear at least a dozen watches with deployments and the most comfortable (rep or gen) would be the rep Tag calibre1 deploy: I think that it's so thin and fine is what makes this one so comfortable. Edit: sorry, you said leather. Will post back with a leather strap on (if it's still as comfy heh)

Hey, here is the seconds at 22 shot as requested: As you can see this hand, like the others, is also a little shorter. But you can see it's not at exactly the same angle, the shot may make it look worse than it is. Was hard to snare this shot with a non hacking movement. Still, A great rep for the money!

Hi, now i get the pam bug that a lot of peeps talk about. Beautiful and minimally stylish watches.I've decided to buy a 220 at Wheaton's advice to go with my new style bracelet (you can see it here). From experience, I've learned to only trust Josh, though I realise this is just my experience - no offense to other dealers (except one particular dealer ). So I'm seeking advice on these two different versions of Pam 220: Pam 220 best $458 or Pam 220 $300 The reason I'm having trouble deciding is that the specs seem 99% identical with the only difference being the 'updated crystal' and "very good lume". I already have the "very good lume" on the FM king and while it is better than regular rep lume, it could still use a relume so that part is irrelevant to me... My question is: is the updated crystal really worth $160? I know in these types of threads often the response is simply "is it worth it you?". So, What I'm really asking is what the real difference is between the crystals and how much difference would it make to the eye? Also, I've never owned gen or rep GMT except for the one in the thread mentioned above and it uses a a21j movement. So if anyone has a suggestion for a Pam GMT with good movement that should have the new bracelet, I'm all ears! One more thing, at some stage, if the bug bites me hard, I know I'm going to have to nab a DSN. I've checked his section but can't find a 220. So a DSN suggestion for another model that needs the new style bracelet would be good too. Naturally I searched before posting this, but couldn't turn anything up about the cartels upgraded 220. Thanks for reading and I'll appreciate any advice given!

Nice watches! I on Joshes 113 and it's the same as this. BTW my watchmaker said the movement is excellent and doesn't need service and said the incablock is top qual and he'd be surprised if it was fake. IME Josh is just the best, hands down. He treats it like business (like a real business). I also love that Seiko mod, have you made a post about it? Would love to see some more of it... One question, what model is that Pam top right?

Yeah buy from Offshore if you can. Great products - cheap. I ship to and from the UK all sorts of new and used goodies with narry a problem (friends and purchases). I'm sure OS could make it look like mail between friends if you are really worried.

I wonder, seeing as you have two correct buckles, what it would take for you to part with one of them? Though if cheap enough I might just buy one of earlier versions you mentioned for the other parts, particularly the hands. Also a question... Do either of the other versions have a better logo marking on the rear (the one at six o'clock)?

Ok, I've seen, held, worn and closely inspected the gen now; in a TH shop in Malaysia. The rep is actually amazingly close. One kinda big flaw though - and this should have been obvious in the first place - The shapes on the deploy clasp should have the TH logo inside them - of course. Did anyone buy the V1? Does the clasp have said logo? The gen come boxed with both the rubber and a black gator strap (that fits the deploy) and retails for about four-and-a-half G's. tf108 - though I've seen the pics you're talking about, according to the AD this is a one off and no other colours are available.
