It's not exclusive to The Hourglass here... Watches of Switzerland (Brisbane) have it as well. Whether it's for sale or not I don't know, but they've had one on display in their window since July. It was launched at a WOS Mastercard event I was invited to.

Has something changed recently with in the upgrade fees? The amount I paid only gave me six months... But just checking it now it appears the same amount is now good for 12 months. Am I missing something here?

It's my understanding that the ring lock system piece can not be moved once it's installed. Something to do with the joining of that piece to the rolexrolex piece. I'd love to hear otherwise though...

I don't think so, regardless of what it says on the site, this one measures 42mm before crowns, so I dont think it would fit even the smaller version. I also got a blue sunburst dialed sub from silix ($30!). It's very handsome and the differences between it and the n00bmariner are negligible. In fact it has a smotther sweep than the n00bs 2813! In fact some of the subs features are more accurate the the famous N00bmariner, such as the height the bezel sits. Bonus,! the bracelet is made from STEBLHOX, which I've heard is much better quality than Steelinox

I wore my GPO (green PO heheh) on wednesday. It's surprisingly good quality for a silix bargain bin 30 buck-er. Quality bracelet. SEL's, about 24hr power reserve, appears to be sapphire crystal, and the green (while obviously far from accurate) actually looks really cool. I was expecting "street fake quality" but its much better than that

What about the Concord C1? It shares a lot of design ethic with Hublot IMO. Sure it retails around the 10 grand mark, but well, you already know what Hublots sell for...

I just got the benefit of being a member here by having a refund given by reluctantly posting a topic here when no amount of polite emails did the job. While i really shouldn't have to happy about that, i am. if i wasn't already a card-carrying member, i would be now. This is an interesting topic, I originally upgraded so that as n00b, I'd feel comfortable asking the "dumb" (inexperienced) questions that n00bs do. Being a mod on another forum has taught me a lot, but one thing in particular. Older members always feel a sense of entitlement, and often deride newer users simply because they're new. This forum is certainly amongst the friendlier forums i frequent but (whether paid not) this divde is still present. The strange situation here is that, when you pay it's a real entitlement, not a sense of one... you're paying for the privilege. Oh, and i'll go platinum when the search function is fixed .

Each to their own, but I don't get the knives thing either (or weapons at all for that matter), perhaps some people just like them like I like watches..? ie: Like, I don't need 17 gens and 8 reps but I still have them... Missing from the pic is the gen ceramic Loyal that is my current favourite gen and nearly always on the wrist. Absolutely my point. Yes they all have tells, faults and inconsistencies, but the one I received was beyond that; with faults you could pick from across the room. Even without a tracking number, he should have a receipt number for the regular mail. Ask him for that so that you can check with the Post Office. Good luck! Hope you get resolution.
