The model you are looking for is the PAM228.
It's not a great rep but a lot better than what you have.

These Watcheden models are cheap, very low quality and designed to be thrown away when they break (which is often). Don't waste your money on those. It looks like a good idea that end up costing more. Money down the garbage chute.
No watchsmith I know would touch them. Replacing the movement is not an option (dial, hands, date wheel won't work with a different movement)
Equalize often and this never becomes a problem. Before I learned that I thought everything would explode when I was free diving. Now I'm completely comfortable at 100'.
Amazing landing a 1 ton truck on another planet. Considering all that could go wrong this is a very impressive feat.
One a day that we have idiots going around spreading hate and pain we have brilliant people that push the boundaries of what our species can achieve. Well done.
I hope they do a decent version of this. The gen is very nice.
The cheap asian version is just awful. Nice start with the rotor window but not engraved not brushed, dial is poor, 007 on the dial should be embossed, lume should be blue, hands are too short, DW too small, horrible pearl as usual, HE valve too small, wrong CG, wrong crown and wrong clasp.
They only got the idea right on this one
it kind of depends on where you live and your age.
Summer in Finland would be very different than Florida. Wearing styles designed for 20 yo when you are in your 40's 50's doesn't go well either.
I doubt you will find a rep usb device. The rep boxes (which are not that great) come with the old style warranty card. The USB device Hublot offers is used to read the smart chip on the new cards.
I personally do not see any use for rep boxes (since my gen ones just clutter my office). Save your money.
I don't think it's just a comparison with Beijing. The event was boring, cluttered and the vast majority of the references were designed for the local public not the Olympics global viewers. Granted the Bond, floating olympic rings and Mr. Bean bits where entertaining but that's about 30 min of 4 1/2 hrs of otherwise dull entertainment. With 45M I'm sure they could have done better.
Sorry mate, no offense but this was the most boring opening I can remember. Most references could only be understood by the British people (although it's directed to an international audience). The pace was slow, the visual was cluttered, very underwhelming.
The Beijing games really set the bar very high.
I bought one used and the only problem I had with the crown was cross threading. Mine was solved with a new crown/stem and a lot of care.
Somehow models with the 7750 and very long stems have a tendency to have this problem. With time and apparently brute force the crown starts to give and become wobbly. You just need to be careful.

I live in Texas and this idea that guns are some kind of right and everybody should be packing is just a symbol of a society that would rather live in the 18th century (I just can'ty really say this out loud since free speech is the one that's overrated around here).
Just look at Japan after the tsunami to learn how a modern civilized society behaves (which btw has roots over thousands of years of cultural learning not this childish society we have built overt the past few hundreds).
But I agree with the notion that a crazy person will find a way to hurt others. The guy had his apartment boobytraped. Our society needs to learn better values and stop being so enamored with violence.
sorry but that text was written in the 18th century just after a bloodied Revolutionary War. It was a time when farmers and ranchers needed the protection since there was no police, national guard, army or any other form of public protection, so regular citizens could form militias and protect themselves and their families. The situation today is totally different and unless people grow up and learn what a civilized society is we will continue to have these stupid cases of senseless violence.
