Hypothetically, yes; the provisions are there for a gasket (small grooved ring chamfer around the diameter of the crystal lip) . However, the newer models do not come equipped with them (the older models however did).
Well, what is more important is not exactly visible. The thing that makes the MBW's so great is their construction. As an example- MBW's use retaining rings for the crystals, so installation and parts acceptance is just like genuine. The reps in the watchonpo link will most likely not have those retaining rings...
So, Maciek- It would appear that you and I have some solid proof that the two companies are working together. I wonder if anyone else has discovered similar findings? And I also wonder what kind of future projects the combined efforts might produce?

There will never be a completely 'bug free/fixed' version The factories and manufacturers will fix a bunch of the flaws, but in the process they will manage to bung up some of the other characteristics or features that were perfectly fine on the prior iteration. So.... I still agree. Buy one of the Asian versions now, and then get one of the 'updated' versions later- Then use both of them to put together one very nice frankenstein hybrid
An unfortunate and frustrating aspect of selling just about anything these days. Lots of 'tire kickers' per se. I try to avoid selling anything as much as possible, but if I do, it's only amongst either a small group of friends, or to trusted members on the forum.
Most of the time, the majority of my stuff never even gets to the point of selling on the forum...
