  1. After removing and replacing my movements and dials a number of times over the last few months and learning not to push too hard on the keyless release, I have somehow managed to stuff up my keyless for an ETA 2846 for the 1665 shown in my avatar. I pressed lightly on the button and the stem came out and somehow when inserting the stem back in, the stem goes right in without it locking as it has done many times. Has anyone had an issue with the keyless after being pressed softly numerous times, lets say 5 times in the last 5 hours causing the keyless to cease up? SO, I have searched the forums and the topics that show how to fix the keyless have had their images removed. Does anyone here have a copy of how to fix the keyless with images please? Also, since the stem is not working, I cannot turn the datewheel to remove the datewheel. Is there a way of removing the datewheel without the use of the stem bearing in mind that there is an overlay glued onto the datewheel therefore hiding the wheel teeth? Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks MJ

    A7750 Stem

Ahh! That makes lots of sense. I think that could be the problem. Thank you for the tip.
  3. I ve grown very fond of Vintage Rolexes over the last few years. They are a classic design and therefore wearing something from the 50s, 60s or 70s still look great today in my eyes. And adding to that the older and more worn these pieces look, the more attractive in my eyes they are.
  4. Congratulations to your wife and you and to your new family. My thoughts are with your family and you.

    A7750 Stem

Thanks Freddy. I will give it a go. The keyless button for this movement seems more robust that the ETA ones. I know that the etas are just a soft touch but somehow this was a very hard button to press. I will attempt to fix it myself.
  6. Still the Rail dialed GWSD. I have a new insert which bleached yesterday. I will take some photos when I am home this evening.

    A7750 Stem

I am asking the experts here to lend me a hand. I' ve read through all the threads and have followed the instructions but still cant get the keyless works to allow the stem back in to the A7750. Getting the stem out was tough too as the keyless button was hard to press. Is there a simple trick to get this back in. I have pressed the keyless but the stem wont go past a certain point in the hole. Any advice would be much appreciated. Ta
