will the helenarou insert fit on a tiger/raffles case ? its larger than the raffles bezel mk emailed me the the insert is 37.6 and 30.1 raffles inserts are 37.55 x 30.8 i need one for a tiger case.

I just purchased a bunch of 2472s and 2451s for future projects i saw that on ebay i have been having a problem fitting the 2846 and 2836-2 in to a big crown yuki style case the stem alignment is out and now only option is to use a more modern 2892-2 which is slimmer but fast beat

Super !!!!! i like modding these days and it a nice addition to our vintage builds collection i am at the moment planning a couple of big crown builds that will be custom built not exact replica of the vintage ones, which will be powered by a more modern 2892-2 eta with red seconds hand and no ageing ! this opens up the way to build custom builds as well as replicating gen watches i would like to see a feature on custom building using replica and aftermarket parts ! Big Bravo !!!!

Still Wearing this ! as my new 6538 project has come to a stand still , 2846 eta will not fit in the gen spec case as the movement is too thick and stem tube will not align up as i thought the 6538 case was yukis i ordered an eta adaptor hoping it would drop right in only option now is to fit a fast beat 2892 hoping that the slimmer movement will help ! This one as become my beater with extreme ageing and my new project will be a mint build as i bend both ways ! notice the textured case sides Super watches keep them coming !

Im having a problem finding a 6538 bond dial at 26mm i have emailed yuki but after 6 days no reply yet he may be on holiday i sometimes find the odd one on ebay but nothing available lately any help appreciated appologies if this post is in the wrong section !

This is a yuki case my yuki case build came without the swiss cross marking in between the lugs the shape of the rehaunt and bezel coin edge cuts look like yukis the thing that throws it off is that cheap rep insert definately not a yuki insert a bit of work refinishing the case will make better results that a cartel 6538 i believe ! if you havent purchased it im after a 6538 case for my tudor rose build !

Hi Nanuq I am planning to try a tudor rose helenarou dial but my watchmaker friend said he will try to stop me hehe ! i belive i can get good result as my process you can check the dial at different stages the oven gives too much heat to fast and can lift the markers up off the dials as with the iserts its a risk with no guarantee it will turn tropical

I wonder if a dial heated up on a gas stove might turn to tropic , i managed it on my 65 insert ok i know its a different process but if anyone followed my insert fading experiment post a few weeks ago will see that some black inserts turned to olive green while others turned tropic like this one , its the colours used together to make up the black colour
