So i think the Insert is smaller than on a Rolex Sub ?!?!? On my Gen Tudor 79190 Sub it is....... I think we can manage to Vintage the pearl......... I tried it on my SD..... All in all its really a nice watch I like it a lot....

Only to solve the mystery and break a lance for Naarika.... I received a MBK 1680 for repair today... It looks the same than yours..... So maybe MBK changed the production line of his MBK Vintage Rollies?!? It has the same Dial,Case;Bezel washer, etc.... Also the engravings are the same.... The watch came not from Reg..... So I don't think Reg scammed you.......

Put some matte Varnish on the Dial. Makes a nice old texture and the glossy is gone.
