  1. Here's my DW 6263 with VJ23 movement
  2. Fizz, Upon closer inspection you can Tour at least some of this base.
  3. My wife does the eye rolling most of the time too but this is her daily beater I had redialed in Pink for her last year. She can occasionally be spotted with my 6263 on her wrist -which looks great IMO but I've given up trying to get a wrist shot with her.
  4. Ditto! Such a shame, very cool though thanks for sharing.
  5. VRF= Vintage Rolex Forum Regards, -TMG
  6. It should fit an MBW as long as it's 26mm. Had an NDT 5513 dial in the past and it fit the case fine.
  7. Wonderful photos HackR and Powershot! Today: Tomorrow:

    Weekend WC

Thank you HA! Yes it is a gen 1979 GMT. Thanks, its good to be back around R. For Sunday, I'm shootin for the Milsub...
  13. Hi all, I haven't been around much for the last two months -very crazy with the holidays and work. Anyhow, can't believe no one has started the weekend Wrist Check yet, so here I go.... I'll be wearing my 16750 on a hopefully sunny Saturday. Have a nice weekend!
  14. Back from the dead post! Nanuq Thanks for the kind words on my DRSD. You are correct it's a modded MBW case, NDT dial -the indices & hands were given a patina paintjob by The Zigmeister to give it that high humidity exposure look. Also a Twinlock crown, Gen T39, 2846 ETA with Watchmeisters DW overlay, the insert (Wholesaleoutlet) in the photo at the time was an bleached & aged with a cracked vintage toned lume dot from "watchesandparts" on ebay. God, I still love this photo and story!!!
  15. Hi Cats, Would have to agree with Ubi, the 1675 is tough for a decent rep to even build and a superfranken will end up costing as much as a gen to build. I was never real happy with my modded 1675 (dial was tad too large, CG's not the right shape, GMT hand wrong shape, crystal was glued one etc) and ended up buying a gen 16750, but that was just me! A lot of good deals out there still on emay a VRF if you look carefully and "buy the seller". Good luck in your quest! What can be done with a modded rep: And the real deal (well my transitional 16750):
  16. White Christmas Eve for me too. Happy Holidays to Everyone!
  17. R, Happy Holidays and thank you for being the "spirit" of this forum and making the place to gather about watches! All the best to you and your family! -S
