  1. Platinum Lange 1 VC Malte Perpetual Chronograph in gold A. Lange & Sohne Langematik Perpetual in gold That was fun!
  2. Here is where I work to make my "product". just kidding, its a picture of a meth lab from google.......
  3. Tell us how your really feel The Zigmeister! Thanks for the warnings everyone, I always assumed he was the end-all-be-all of watch part sources.
  4. A LOT of people lust after the "old factory" seamasters. So take the newest seamaster and make it more or less perfect. Correct He placement, pinned and engraved bracelet, good AR, superlume. They would sell like mad. Chances of getting called out on the beat being too fast......too low to believe.
  5. Wow those are some fast feet. Great video, never came across them before. I am always blown away by Carter Beauford from Dave Matthews Band (whether you care for their music or not). He mixes different rhythm back and forth in a heartbeat. His arms sure fly around to use every piece on that kit.
  6. bump, any of the dealers get a word about the red lettered seamaster yet?
  7. Craig has made quite a different Bond, I can't wait for more. Same thing happened with Bale and Batman. I also confirm he said Oh mee ga. First time I have heard it that way.
  8. Could someone explain the 5 pieces end links and how this is different on some reps. I'm looking at SMP's to buy too. Thanks!
  9. mine's a 1982 Gibson Spirit (think les paul double cutaway), got it at a flea market for a song.....so to speak
  10. Beautiful! I have a Sirtoli Ostrich too. It is by far my favorite strap. Very soft. That watch is gonna get noticed.
  11. same here...looks like they got evicted!
  12. Thanks for the comments! I have to say I don't consider it a fantasy model (maybe if it had a psuedo tourbillon, hehe). Sure, the breitling logo is in the wrong spot because the lcd windows aren't far enough apart, but the UTC bracelet can be ordered from Breitling and the airplane logo is indicative of several special editions that are made for various flying teams and airforce squadrons around the world. Once in awhile one turns up on eBay (they look very cool). I agree that there hasn't been a perfect Aerospace yet, which is a shame.
  13. Unfortunetly you won't find a rep with the dials spaced like the gen because of Lange's unique movements. I got my gold one from a friend in China. I saw the same one on ioffer once before. There are some differences with the movement (sorry no Chinese made perpetual calenders yet!). The 6 oclock dial is a 24 hour dial and not seconds (there is no seconds hand on the watch). Also, the month dial is doing a 31 day sweep so it has to be manually advanced every week or so to keep it on the correct month. On visual expection none of that matters though, just an extra inconvenience. I still love it. Here is a wrist shot.
  14. I got this one at an auction and I was blown away once I had it in possession. The details are incredible and weight and feel on the wrist are perfect. The lume and blue lcd lighting are bright too. All of the alarm, chronograph, split timer, etc work. I think it is a Citizen movement, although I haven't had the back off yet. Around the rim of the caseback is a calculator for fuel to weight ratios that didn't show up in the pics. The unidirectional rotating bezel is tight and the rest of the fit and finish is great. The bracelet is solid, thick, heavy and has a great gunmetal finish. I especially like the look of the individual screws around the bezel that can be seen in a couple of the pics. The airplane on the face is raised and highly detailed, I have seen one other cheap Aerospace rep with the plane and it was painted right on the face with a cartoonish appearance. I wish I knew when and where this baby was made, but I have never seen anything like it around here or on the net before. Enjoy the pics...I tried to pick the best of the set.
  15. It is based on the Pour le Merite Tourbillon, but the moonphase is fantasy. It isn't really a tourbillon, just the balance wheel. It is still very fun to watch and gets plenty of wristtime.
  16. Here are mine, the gold is more accurate but still not right. It is my favorite of all my watches and I will look for ANY excuse to wear it......gen Lange's are simply beautiful.
  17. Although I don't have the time to look it up, I would put good money on the fact those aren't 2 $5 batteries in there. Although a lot of it is for show (the case and such), that is meant to be a professional tool that could and probably has saved lives. It would be too much of a liability risk for the company to put cheap components in there that run down often. That being said I am sure there is PLENTY of markup still built into the battery change.
  18. The hunt for a rep of that watch is what brought me into the whole world of replicas and eventually here. I wish another advancement would come along for that model, but I am no longer holding my breath. Great pics!
  19. Great watch! Congrats on having steady hands.
  20. Thanks to the OP. I too enjoy reading informative posts like that. It gives me a more well rounded watch knowledge and appreciation. Its interesting too, for some I guess.
  21. Now here is a fine Patek for the replica makers. I'm not sure an Asian 21j would cut it....... http://www.aspireauctions.com/216-231-5515...aLZtaqAIihx1Vbg Looks like they underestimated the final auction price a bit!
  22. My gf bought me my first watch last year. Since then I caught the bug and bought 4 more. Whenever I talked about a new watch I wanted, she would get sad and ask why I didn't like the one she bought anymore. Therefore I only wear the one she bought around her and don't talk about any other watches! I've had to hide quite a few around the house when she is over....
  23. I can't wait. If anyone doesn't know what we mean, just search in youtube or google video for some of the scenes from his HBO show for a laugh. NIIICCE!
