  1. I'm wondering who will actually post a review & which will have the best pics. I've heard tell about different case sizes from different dealers and I wonder if it's not the case, but rather the method of measuring it (i.e. from bezel edge to bezel edge rather than from case to case, etc.). I have a feeling that they're actually the same watch; that perhaps Josh, Andrew, & Angus' are all from the same manufacturer.
  2. Nice review. Looks familiar. http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showtopic=19068
  3. Angus & Josh have both stated their stock shipped two days ago, and members on all the boards have claimed buying this model, so you can bet your buttons by Friday there will be plenty of pics & reviews for you to decide, instead of debating purely over a limited supply of dealers pics, all shot against black. On a side note, I must admit, personally, this one is growing on me. I would have honestly loved to have bought King's 1:1, but with 5 emails & 2 PMs since the beginning of September, with zero response; fcuk her. I will never do business with that dealer. It's obvious this new watch is a tad off, but as we've said to our learning members for ages--with SMPs, Subs, etc.,--"no rep is ever going to be 'perfect', so you have to get accustomed to it, if you're going to enjoy this hobby." The logical & open-minded way to look at the new SD is that some claim the MBK/MBW the "best" Sub and are willing to settle for a great rehaut, while compromising things like poor dial print, and a sub-par bracelet & crown, while others tout the Noobmariner Sub as being a better compromise for having the best dial print, sharp crown & good bracelet, while settling for a shallow rehaut and different case construction. But as with most problems, if you're simply able to invest the money & time, they're usually fixable. I have a feeling--that even partially flawed--once on the wrist, this watch will be quite impressive. Photos are hard to trust given that not only can they reveal flaws, but they can also conceal at the same time. How often have we seen the exact same watch from the exact same dealer shot by two different members, only to love one and dislike the other--even though they're exactly the same? This new SD looks like it has an excellent bracelet, sharp dial, sharp crown, a good clasp-logo stamp, good looking case & HEV construction, etc.--a true 14mm case, instead of the Sub-case-SD that's currently sold--there are a lot of qualities to this that appear better straight from the box than most of the Subs do. Maybe the bezel & crystal will look better in person--it's all in how it's worn & how it's lit. Personally, I'm excited waiting for the members reviews from those who were willing to take a leap of faith and buy this--sight-unseen--the second it hit the market. From my sources, there is no other modern SD in the works yet, and I have a feeling that some will be more pleased with this watch than originally anticipated.
  4. He said in a PM he was still waiting to get the gen back from the maker.
  5. The first. Appears to have better dial-print, better fitting end-links, & a more accurate clasp.
  6. Best wishes, babe.
  7. They're low quality chinese movements--amatory is owned by the same guy that does the scamsite swissexpert.net . AVOID!!!
  8. I want them to shoot with the complete box & book set.
  9. I've been wondering myself for a couple of years now...
  10. Just found this thread--sorry 4 the delay, and you're more than welcome.
  11. I'm sure there are a few will attempt to corner the market... But if they're listening, he with the best price & service wins.
  12. Not unless you want to wait another 6 months for it...
  13. For clarification, this Sub wasn't out months ago (it's supposed "release" was July, specifically--according to his site); it's just a stall tactic of lying, in order to get front-money. It was just released a few days ago, because the manufacturer simply didn't have them made yet & he couldn't get his hands on any. George is not a watchmaker and didn't create this piece in the privacy of his garage, all by his lonesome; he's just a dealer like all the rest. As soon as our "collectors" get the same pieces from this factory, we'll have them too. And probably for less than this jerk-off is hocking them for.
  14. Give it one month, and every dealer on this board (and then some) will have it. Of course, this will be perfectly timed for the appearance of an unreleased & over-priced SD. The next link in the evolution of "super" reps.
  15. Motion seconded.
  16. Is the case on this model at least thicker than a sub? http://www.cclv.net/ROLEX-352.htm
  17. That's the inherent problem--it's impossible to mail something that doesn't exist.
  18. Hope you can get your money back...
  19. Hmmm...this idiot's still sending the same bullschit email reply he was sending in July & August. So funny how busy he is with all his "responses" and "sales", not a single human being at any forum on planet earth seems to have one.
  20. Too funny. And too true.
  21. That's actually a blurry picture, not a blurry dial. Holding both in my hand I can't tell the difference between the two. Here's a better shot of the rep dial:
  22. For the most part, horse-[censored].
  23. I'm curious as to who's it was.
  24. Classic & simple. 005, from Davidsen.
