I am an American, and I knew the answer to every one of those questions. I could go to another country and look for a bunch of stupid looking people and quiz them with similar results. I will admit that due to social engineering, the government controlled media, and the systematic and intentional elimination of the the affluent middle class in the United States, we've become overflowing cornucopia filled with the very cream of human ignorace. It makes me sad and enraged at the same time. My family and I are leaving for a simpler life in Costa Rica in about 13 months, though I don't know what it will accomplish. I'm pretty sure they both have the same movement. The newer "ultimate" one has some significant aesthetic upgrades like correct gmt hand size, correct cyclp, correct (or closer) date font, correct case back, and AR on the crystal, but they screwed the pooch on the crown guard. I have the old one, and despite the flaws it's one of my favorites, and by the way, has the best crown guard of any pam I have owned or seen on the forums. I will buy the ultimate once fix that POS crown guard, but not before....or I could buy the new one and trade out the better crown guard from my old one.

What do you do and what state are you in; I am connected in certain circles, and would be willing to get your name around if applicable.

Dude, Maybe this it the Martinis talking, but if someone asked me if I didn't have something more responsible to spend my money on, I'd make it real clear that what I spend my money on is none of their damn business. My family in friends not only support my hobby since it makes me happy, but have been infected by it, and one of my closest friends and I have become watch partners. We have a vault at the office, and we split the purchase of all our watches, and check them in and out like library books. My friends & family know me well enough to know that I a could give two sh!+s about anyone's judgmental views of the only hobby that I have, and one of the few things I have that brings me true joy in my life outside of my wife and kids. Seriously, don't put up with that sh!+....from anyone. B

Also, JD Powers ususally doles out awards to American car companies based on "initial quality" meaning it doesn't take into account that sh!++y american vehicles break down as often as they ever have, and are about as exiting to drive as a cold bucket of spaghetti. I am an American, and i have bought nothing but Infinity since 1997, and am not on my 7th and 8th Infiniti's (G35 Sedans), and you simply cannot beat the bang for the buck. I might....in some far off reality....buy an American made truck, but that would be pushing it.

Depends, if it was a silicon-laiden stripper with a vacuous look on her face then I'd probably wear a rolex. If it were a classy lady of substance, I'd wear my IWC Ingeniur. If I was unaware of what king of woman she was, I'd wear something I like such as my panerai 029 or my white face SFSO on a bracelet.

Here's what I did to waterproof all 3 of my UPO's and all 3 held up. 1. Use needle nose pliers to tighten the case back. 2. Use needle nose pliers and a chamoi cloth to tighten down the HE valve. 3. Hand tightened (not overly so) the crown before entering the water. Just make sure the watch is completely dried before unscrewing the crown at all.
