  1. Strange... I hope the entire PM system is not down!
  2. Thanks for the offer! Just PMd you but your box can't accept any new messages!!
  3. It fits perfectly on the Phong case but when I tried to swap it out and put it on the DW case, no go! The spring bars don't line up. Anyone else have this problem? Does this mean I need 571s from DW? Thanks
  4. I am completely speechless! My jaw is still on the floor.

Very nice! His emails are always clear! Must be Google translate.
  6. Unfortunately, most people assume ALL Rolex watches are fakes! We can't win. We strive for perfection amongst ourselves only to be secretly looked down upon by the masses who do not know any better.
  7. I just saw realized who the seller is!
  8. I'll say Phong case. The HE valve looks too "flush" with the rest of the case, though. Could be the angle. That's a real beauty. Makes me miss mine...
  9. No idea! Not finding out either... At least not on these items!
  10. That's crazy! I would rather spend that kind of money on a dial! The pushers? Really? I am not that picky!
  11. $2,300 for pushers? http://www.network54.com/Forum/207673/thread/1359481869/FS-+6263+6265+Rolex+Daytona+NOS+MK2+P301+pushers
  12. I've thought about buying a gen 1680 and swapping the dial!!! I think my 1665 option is cheaper.
  13. I have. A couple of times!!! Maybe you guys can help me convince him to do just 2 more mods!!! Pretty please???!!!!
  14. I have an old school MBW 1665 that's been sitting in the drawer for about 12 months. Lugs have been drilled and the case softened a bit. My only issue is no one, and I mean no one is wiling to do the HEV drill mod for me. It appears to be a pain the ass!! I have the HE valve ready to go, gen crown, gen tube, gen crystal, gen insert, gen 1570 movement. I am down to hands and dial and the damn HEV! Any other case options?
  15. Interesting, thus far, I had spent much time on the dial spacing and found NDT to be slightly more accurate on that front. But after your comments, I see what you mean. It's all about the "Comex" Thanks
  16. Gathering the parts for a 1665 Comex Sea Dweller. Looking for your help on accuracy of the dial. I've done some homework and have a preference but will let others chime in. Also, any other options out there? Thanks NDT - Dial MQ Dial Phong dial Gen dial - what a beauty!
  17. Z, congrats. Always put me in a good mood!
  18. No. Images showing an LV with lugholes were promotional in nature. I read an article on this on Jake Rolex's blog site.
  19. Why not make dials that fit the gen movement as opposed to ETAs? In any case, best of luck. As others have said, If you can make something worthwhile, you would have lots of buyers for sure! Keep us posted.
  20. Nice build! I agree with Panerai153, at a certain threshold, just go gen. However, I am no modder so I also have to factor labor costs! Congrats.
  21. Ken, my thoughts are with you and your family. Wishing you all the best.
  22. I prefer my vintage to be safe queens as opposed to beaters. I would never deliberately "beat up" my watch.
  23. Wow! Serious machinery. Maybe that's why Rolex costs thousands of dollars. So much for "women power"! TC, I certainly appreciate your ongoing dedication to the cause. Guys at VRF and TRF would lose their minds if they read this!
