  1. That Bond sub looks like a Project X no CG, no cyclops Ceramic sub. I love that. That's why i favor Sea Dwellers, I guess... Nice
  2. Interestng. Did you leave the bezel on? How long of a job was it? I'm no modder by any stretch of the imagination, so I'm wondering is it just a few strokes and the job is done? Thanks
  3. At least this one has "Oyster" spelled as one word.
  4. That is absolutely stunning! Are you selling these?
  5. I had my eye on that same 6265...too late. Thanks again
  6. Woof, I asked around and the general consensus is it would not fit. I even asked PBdad and it appears that the crystal would sit lower than the bezel if that's possible. Please correct me if I am wrong here. That LEC is the main reason I parted ways with my famous SSD. I have a friend who wears one as a daily beater and it's a painful reminder of how I really loved the watch but hated the LEC. I was an option was to get a crystal specially made but that would be big $. I hope I'm wrong or someone figures it out. If they do, I'd snag one in a hurry.
  7. I bought a Pepsi and a Coke and sold them the same day. Too many things wrong when you read By-Tor's review of the better models and the gen. I keep hearing talk of a 1675 1:1... Now that would be something.
  8. Zeleni, you never cease to amaze me! Pm sent
  9. Wow! You guys keep making spend money!
  10. Just picked up a 7032 Tudor from Concepta (yes, that Concepta!) I did not realize he strayed from IWC. In any case, the watch came with a Heritage Nato and I am not sure i like the look. What is the correct bracelet for this watch and what is the best source? Thanks. It seems I have been asking a lot of questions lately. I appreciate everyone's help. Dan
  11. Sounds unanimous. Let me check him out! Thanks again
  12. It's become apparent that I must get a hold of some basic tools to continue with this hobby. Any opinions on the best place to source a decent quality "starter-set"? Thanks
  13. am i to understand, Zeleni, that you sold your YM? i don't think i would ever be able to part with it.
  14. I bought the gen bezel assembly to be able to swap inserts like the gen. Is this still possible?
  15. Thanks. Just have to find the gen crystal retaining ring.
  16. Honestly, I thought I would pop out the old bezel and snap in the new gen assembly! As you can tell, I am no modder!
  17. Thanks. Had already looked into Mr. slime ball! So what you're saying, is that I cannot do this job myself as I have no tools! Great. I don't get it. Either these watches take gen parts or they don't!
  18. Would an aftermarket crystal retaining ring do the trick?
  19. Chiman, that's awesome! Where did you get that blue Tudor on the right? She's a beauty.
  20. I have an incoming WM9 v3. I already sourced a gen bezel, insert, spacer and click spring. I have been unable to source a gen crystal retaining ring. What are my options? Also, how easy of a job is it to replace the stock wm9 bezel and fit in the gen parts? Your expert help will be much appreciated.
  21. Zeleni, must be the angle, came straight from BK this way.
  22. I had not thought of the 24hr hand... Oh well. Let me try that tomorrow and see what happens. At least I got to show it off!
  23. I just picked up this beautiful BK Transformer from Horologik. There it is next to the equally beautiful BK WM9 Yacht Master. Thanks Zeleni for the inspiration for this picture. I have 2 questions: 1. The GMT hand is not following the hour hand. I set it yesterday at 2 hours behind. 12 hours later, it had fallen 6 hours behind... what is happening here? 2. Does anyone know if a Coke bezel was ever available for the Transformer? I have already emailed BK about it but figured I would ask around. Thanks and enjoy! Uploaded with ImageShack.us
  24. Fantastic looking piece... I wish I had a silver dial!
