  1. Dang Joey, I love that 6204. Spectacular. I agree with the "other brands" thinking too, there are tons to choose from.
  2. He was enjoying the new snow tonight! Those are 20' railroad timbers behind him in that last picture.
  3. Very nice! Say, is that screen in the background showing a clip from our famous "Selecting the right watch forum" video? http://www.rwgforum.net/topic/163227-the-holiest-of-holy-watch-meccas/
  4. Date? On my watch? Well lookie there, there IS a date on that beater. Who woulda thunk it? Pfffffft.... it's right once in awhile. Good enough for me.
  5. Verrrrrry nice Single Red, Whoop! I might as well post up a photo of my crusty old beater...
  6. Try exhaling completely then taking in a half breath and holding it as absolutely long as possible. That wakes ya right up!
  7. Hmmmmmm, this is seriously tweaking my visceral dislike for all contemporary Rolex models.
  8. Hey J! Welcome back! What a great presentation... That's a heck of a collection! Aw well I might as well show my one and only lonely chrono, this is an AOPA Gigandet triple date, a precursor to the Navitimer. I've never seen another one.
  9. First snow of the season...
  10. Hey that's an iconic work of art now, Bucko. I'm thinking the Louvre....

    Gilt?

What he said ^^^^ it's very hard to photograph a gilt dial. Here's a gilt that looks pale gold and pure white, at other times it's nice and gold colored.
  12. Funny thing, when the springbar components are a good tight fit, they are less usable in real life. I spent 2 weeks in the ocean with the Big Gonzo and the saltwater would evaporate leaving behind solid minerals, and I couldn't remove the springbars. I soaked them a long time in fresh water to loosen the deposits, and eventually removed them. And they were tough enough (gens) I doubt I could have brute force pulled it apart without ruining the flimsy band in the process.
  13. I wear Carhartt carpenter pants with the side tool pockets, and that's where the phone lives. I haven't smashed a screen yet.
  14. No, I know for a fact. I tried it 20 years ago on a gen. You'd have to custom make a retaining ring, then mill the backside of the crown, and it still would look wrong. Talk to NDT or Phong for a 6536/1 bezel.
  15. Started out by a salmon stream on my mtn bike, and ended up here.
  16. There's some seriously hot minivan lust there...
  17. Those photos are seriously making me reconsider my preference for MQ cases vs. yours. Wow. Better send it to me for some enhancement. *cough*
  18. I get the same thing here. If I upload to Tapatalk hosting I lose all the picture quality. So I put them on my server and post them via http link. The difference is just outstanding, but then again if you're posting 15MB pictures I suspect your audience will diminish rapidly.
  19. Here's the Big Gonzo as summer winds down, 8:30 at night and it's getting dark, supposed to freeze tonight.
  20. Pearl Django, great weekend tunes. http://soundhound.com/?t=100914931752718985
