This afternoon I was in the woods, looking for bears. I was walking along a salmon stream, the birds were singing, there was a light breeze. Suddenly there was a pause. It got very quiet for just a moment. The wind died down and the birds were silent. At first I thought a bear was close by. Now I know what it was. It was the sound of silence as you opened this watch box and the heavens gazed over your shoulder in awe. Well done. That is beautiful.

Just a dang minute here. That model is supposed to have the pointy fours in the bezel, not flat fours. An obvious tell.

I've had some trouble (cough) with Avid and Mavic parts on my Kona and Marin. Most notably, exploded brake hoses and the spoke nipples torn out through the rims, leaving big gaping holes. Oh, and I'm on hardtail biles again... I've exploded too many rear shocks. I've moved to Formula brakes and they seem bulletproof, and Bontrager Clyde rims. No more big gaping holes!

Same with you, Omni ... it's great to see you darkening our halls again.

Very tasty. Have you tried the Formula brakes yet? They're bulletproof even at -40F. Here's what "MTB" means to me.
