  1. That is a whole lot of watch watchers!
  2. Welcome Asad. You are off to a good start with 3 gens. As you say, the quality of reps are quite good, so you should be pleased with whatever you purchase. Do some reserach first and then you will be ok.
  3. You are a master of watches Rolli, congrats on another fine looking Panerai.
  4. Enjoy your new beauty. The sandwich dial is so much more pronounced on the gen. Great watch to own.
  5. Great comparison and review Lanikai. You own both the ceramic and PVD? They do look close, however it seems to me it would be difficult to compare the highly polished ceramic to the PVD. I only have the ceramic. I see Josh is here now, maybe he can add a comment on his view.
  6. That Black Marcus is a very cool watch and I would love to own one.
  7. Busy wristcheck this weekend! For me it is Panerai time, which actually, anytime should be Panerai time, one of the finest wristwatches on the market now, and this year I shall purchase a gen, which one, I am on the fence, but it will happen. Here is my Fiddy on a G E.F.strap. Have not worn it for awhile but it always looks good to me. My 172 on a gen gator strap, for Saturday.
  8. Hei Hei all in gut fun now! Here is the offender practicing his craft on the beach. Tak tak!
  9. I'm sorry Rodwc, the Constitution clearly states that execution by cruel and unusual means is not allowed, and just being exposed to that photo is cruel and unusual. Might even give me an upset tummy!
  10. Seems Scottish fans of U2 might not have the same reverence for them as they do in Ireland... found this tidbit from a recent concert Bono, lead singer of the rock band U2, is famous throughout the entertainment industry for being more than just a little self-righteous. At a recent U2 concert in Glasgow, Scotland, he asked the audience for total quiet. Then, in the silence, he started to slowly clap his hands, once every few seconds. Holding the audience in total silence, he said into the microphone, "Every time I clap my hands, a child in Africa dies." A voice with a broad Scottish accent from the front of the crowd pierced the quiet: "Well, foockin' stop doin it then, ya evil bastard!"
  11. Ceramic is about 35% lighter than steel and that is why there is a noticible difference in weight. Often when holding a watch, the weight factor is very important to people, and it should be because it does demonstrate solidity and quality, but the finest watches, Panerai included are always going to feel lighter because the bulk of materiel in a watch is the case. That is why a PVD radiomir will be heavier, but the beauty of ceramic compared to PVD is far superior.
  12. Thats pretty good. The name I put in was Ralph Kramden, and seeing "Kramden" tattooed on that guys ass was too funny. Thanks rodwc.
  13. Rolli, your 232 in PVD is fantastic. Thanks for posting it. Again.
  14. Welcome to the forum zoeblogrow. Interesting handle there. The administrators of this website have done a tremendous service for the members here by carefully selecting dealers of replica watches who are honest, who deliver, and who offer the best quality replica watches that you will find anywhere in the world. You can even travel to Guanzhou , China where most of these watches are manufactured and not get a better deal than you can right here. You are fortunate to have found this site and be assured that whatever watch you buy from the dealers on this board, it is going to arrive, (local customs willing) and if there is a problem with the watch it will be reasonably resolved, although problems are in the minority of purchases. Read the past posts about the watch you want and you will find a wealth of information. Also, use your common sense. Good luck, have fun and enjoy!
  15. Ever since this version of the Radiomir has been introduced, I have wanted one. Ceramic watches are expensive to make and this will be a costly rep also. The factories are right now making this in PVD to gauge the response in sales and will produce a ceramic version based on volume. If they pull it off, it will be, for me at least, THE Panerai rep to own, providing it is within ones taste and budget of course. This is the one watch I want in 2008.
  16. The Cognac for sure. Cool belts, get a 111 and matching strap and you will be a stylish mofo !
  17. Seems as though the size varies just a bit from rep to rep on the Santos 100. It is a large watch and a beauty for sure. My friends have bought both the ss and TT versions and they look simply great. Have not yet pulled the trigger on one myself as I would like the XL with a steel bracelet. The rep straps are not the greatest, but the tremendous presence of the watch itself makes up for the strap. Congtrats Rodwc, wear it in good health for many years.
  18. @ Tom Riddle, the HBB screw driver is a must for HBB owners. I picked up one from Trusty, and it brings peace of mind for 20 bucks. When I first used it, there were a couple of loose ones that would have fallen out in time, so be sure to get one, and to all HBB owners do the same as it will surely spare you agravation down the road. I don't know why the factories will not tighten the screws properly, but it is an issue that all of us should pay heed to.
  19. Congrats AJ. You have always posted thoughtfully and with consideration to the forum. Not having reached that milestone yet, as you joined 4 months earlier than me. Your 1000 posts have been appreciated by many and to those who post over 4000 in 1/4 of the time, I say that quality overrides quantity. Go forward and enjoy your life! P.S. I do believe that those of us who are gainfully employed are at a disadvantage to being super posters, yet we still do our best to contribute.
  20. The Bvlagari Assioma for an Assmaster with virtually no Assaroma, unless of course an Assaficienado gets too damn close! Congrats UB7 on your new Ice Bang. Wear it for many years in good health.
  21. Freeloaders with over 2000 posts who have taken advantage of the fantastic information in this great website without contributing one red cent bug me. Just my personal point of view which can easily change when cheapskates pony up the dough. When it comes to buying rep watches, I buy what I like the most as long as it it is not under $200.00. The more the price in a rep from a reputable dealer, the better the quality. Seems to be that way in general as you get what you pay for.
  22. Pugwash, I have no patience at all to argue with you. It has nothing to do with people skills which clearly you know very little about. My people skills have taken me far and will continue to do so. It is clear to many except your sycophants that you argue just to argue, I have zero tolerance for such a person. While surfing the net the other day I came upon a story and list of basic essential goods and materials of survival in the event of a disaster. Disatsers do happen. In my state today, a levee broke causing flooding and the displacement of 1500 people. They have no electricty and basic services are gone. A generator comes in handy. If people subscribed to your point of view, they would die. That does not mean anything to you, however as long as you win the argument. There are not many other websites where I spend much time and I found this information might be useful. It was to me, but instead I was ridiculed for trying to offer something I considered to be helpful. So I replaced the list with a bottle of vodka, which is all you deserve in a time of emergency. Again, to be clear, my curt reaction to you Pugwash was an expression of my disdain for your persistance in being a complete jackass when it comes to matters of courtesy and common concern for the human race. Typical of atheists. Please keep your word and stay bowed out as there is nothing you can say here of any relevance.
  23. Good choice Lanikai. The one thing that has stopped me from and Omega chrono is the spacing of the dials and it looks like that has been covered. Despite the minor flaws, this version seems to be quite good as is the price. Nice to live at a point of entry. Honolulu customs have always been decent when compared to other cities.
  24. He is actually a great person with a good sense of humor, and also a client.
