  1. Welcome , and here is one of the best subs
  2. Welcome Panera. Share some of your photos here with the board. I know you have an amazing collection of pams.
  3. The cannon pin is the center pin on the watch dial that holds the hands in. On many reps this pin is recessed which those who are in the know will identify it as a rep right away. This can be corrected by a number of guys who do repair here on the RWG board. The H series is the same size as the others. However some rep models will vary slightly in size. Not all gen Panerais have a swan neck regulator. Many do but different movements have been used to make pams over the years. Good luck and enjoy your collecting experience. Panerai is one of the hottest watch brands now and for good reason. It is an awesome time piece.
  4. Phoband, I have this avatar in my photo file and had considered using it. Pretty cool little bit of cartoon making.
  5. I just walked by the Burberry store here and some clown put a sign in the window that read.. "Try Our Burberry Fur Burgers" It did not last long, went back to get a photo and it was gone. Sounds like the birth of a new promotion to me
  6. Yes, to have one of my treasured websites out of the game makes one feel...well...a little anxious.
  7. Here's one more....A Mario Paci..
  8. Omega by day and Panerai in the evening......of course! Enjoy your cruise Dario.
  9. Just got a Figlio La Spezia strap for my 111 G
  10. Remote legality aside, the proprietary copyright holder can in times of defense of proprietary claims, cancel or destroy any counterfeit claims to the copyright if they are within their domain. If someone voluntarily gives a counterfeit product to the rightful copyright holder then yes, it is perfectly legal for them to annihiliate it to smithereens. Case Closed and boo hoo hoo.
  11. This is not good. Cartier is famous for smashing reps with a hammer on the spot. It is probably 100% certain that the watch in question is in a thousand pieces. The best solution would be to buy another rep to replace it. Sounds like a tight squeeze in any event.
  12. The 47MM Radiomir 232 would have to be my least favorite of the pams I have purchased so far. The dial was scratched and had to be replaced, the lugs are goofy and the screws got stripped to easily. which made the lugs rattle around a bit. I got a replacement 232 to make up for it, but the dial is not the color of the gen so it kind of leaves me a bit cold. With some work it could be a great rep
  13. This is a Greg Stevens crazy horse black stitch on my Davidsen fiddy. I use a few different ones, and the Mario Paci Natale from TC is also quite nice
  14. The 232 is a very nice fantasy watch for sure. Along with the hands, and dial needing work, the lugs on this rep are also to big and shaped straight, not contoured to the body like the gen. This can be fixed, but it is a pain.
  15. Thanks Admin for your eloquent take on the subject. Well stated. Now, could you please lock the thread and stop this endless argument?
  16. That is so great that you did that for your little girl. What a dad! I think my 19 year old daughter would love this watch. It's simply fantastic!
  17. I stand by what I said and will not get dragged into another endless debate over semantics.
