  1. I have the PAV 91 on my fiddy now and it is my most favorite strap hands down. It looks great on your base V. I also have the PAV 99 on my 232 and it rocks as well, but the 91 is tops!
  2. I have the swiss movement 253 yet rarely wear it. The watch seems small compared to the 111, 127, 232 and 172 which I wear far more. The 253 has never really done much for me, although it is a nice watch.
  3. I own the 111G from Andrew and am very pleased with it. It is an awesome watch and a damn fine replica. You cannot go wrong with this watch.
  4. That ceramic black seal is one cool looking watch. Love the submarine logo too. Thanks for sharing these pics Rolli.
  5. All 25 plus pages of that sad thread were read by me and if some people did not posses such limited and narrow minds they could see what was really being said, and what it was I was attempting to say, but I am sure that by and large the majority of readers here figured it out. As far as "thickly veiled references" go, well I guess that little angry men hiding in third world countries can taken all the pot shots they want from their sweaty little cubby holes.
  6. Excellent post TJ. And yes my enthusiasm for this hobby that I have enjoyed so much as waned quite a bit in the last week beacuse of the ugly nastiness that has been spewed by many in this forum. It's shameful really. It is a good thing to see Admin putting their foot down about people being so vile in this forum. Especially dealers. It makes no sense whatsoever to me that a dealer who is here to provide the forum members with the goods to engage their hobby can pen such hatefulness to his clientele. Even if things do get better, I have lost my appettite for awhile.
  7. This is pretty interesting. So these websites are not accessible to those living in the PR of China? I often though there was such a firewall, just wonder how they enforce it?
  8. Wisatrin? Now that is hilarious. Bravo
  9. Now thats a nice collection of watches. Not to many and just the essentials.
  10. The 111G was my choice over the "H", the painted dial feels a bit cleaner to me than the sandwich. Thanks for that info Babola, interesting to know about the higher collectibility of the 111G, it confirms my thoughts.
  11. Mail shipped to Japan is under far more scrutiny than anything shipped from there. I have recieved countless parcels from Japan with no problem. Don't worry.
  12. Rolli that 232 with the PVD looks awesome.
  13. Linksy is quite good for sure. Best price too.
  14. In the very small world of replica watch collectors....seems that perhaps life is not as easy or simple as just enjoying the hobby and being supportive of one another. :nopity:
  15. Good looking straps V, the black croc is outstanding.
  16. As always, those are great photos Rolli. I love my 172. One of the greatest Panerai designs.
  17. Saint Patricks day is here....So then a fiddy with a green blazer me laddys.
  18. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. It raises the awareness and makes the genuine ariticle more desirable. If the Rolex watch had never been copied do you really believe there would be as much recognition of this watch?
  19. Nice watches and welcome to the forum.
  20. After reading that post I had a good chuckle "My Humps My Humps"? It was dark humor without doubt and those gas bags at Paneristi need a little wind taken out of their dirigible heads from time to time. LOL !
  21. Seems like RWI is down for the count today.
  22. All opinions aside ,any collectible object is worth exactly what a person is willing to pay for it, and thereby sets the standard and precedent for fair market value. Perhaps this may seem unfair to some , it is what makes the world go around however.
