Yep, I had Breitling, Patek Phillipe and then found this place, bought a Pam 232, 253, 127 and 111 G so far. The Panerai virus has got me real bad to be sure and it is only a matter of time before I start buying a Gen or two.
I just got Davidsen's 127 Fiddy and think it is great. I noticed Andrew had a one week sale on his 111's and the 111 G he had for 328.00 was 268.00 so I pulled the trigger on it. The G version does not have the sandwich dial of course but I like the clean look.
Check out this link and if anyone has an opinion on this version, I would be happy to hear it.

Thank you Mike, A very Happy Thanksgiving to you, your family, and to all the members of RWG the world over. There is much that we have to be thankful for.
Of course that a-hole was a thief, I did not intend to disparage your situation in any way, rather pointing out the absurdity of it. I meant no offence.
What an unfortunate incident, ouch, has to hurt for sure. There is a twisted irony, you have to admit in using counterfeit money to purchase a counterfeit watch.
What a great adventure. I have been to Beijing on business and it is quite interesting to experience Chinese business dealings. This story makes me want to go back, but this time to Guangzhou. TVT, you write a spellbinding narration Thanks Chronus for posting it.
This is a bit late, but I just found this post and have been deciding myself between the 111H or G and the G without the sandwich dial is what I chose and just ordered, as it seems to have a cleaner look to my eye. It seems that I am in the minority here but, I think the G is a classic that is underrated.
This is all very good information and most helpful. In changing straps on my reps, the screws are so easily stripped that makes it a little disappointing. It seems that poor quality lug screws is a fact of life in collecting reps and that drilling new holes for spring bars is to be expected. I don't have the drilling equipment or the expertise in this kind of work , but do have a good watchsmith who will work with me. Thanks again for the excellent post.
Andrew of Trusty Time, is a good man with a sterling reputation. He might be half way around the world, but he makes you feel like he is in the room there with you and that your business transaction is going to be a positive experience. I just purchased my third watch from him and can recommend him without reservation.
What is the difference between a pickpocket and a gynocologist?
Well, one snatches watches, and the other......
Next time I'll post in the humor section.....
