  1. I had a couple of these installed in my PT 1680 but I believe the end bars where 1mm. Maybe Angus can help. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  2. Thanks. Lugs are drilled. I am still unsure but ..... Yuki is what I intent to get.
  3. Grrrr, I h@te you LOL. Yours is finished, mine still work in progress. Still need a movement, hands and crown. But it will be worth it in the end. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD Here is a teaser pic.
  4. I would go wit a mixture of both. Hour hand and second hand from TC and minute hand from clark. The TC minute hand is OK for recent to neo vintage builds, 16800 era but not for vintage 5513 era builds. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  5. Hi, Good plan. All yes but #3 should be 25-19 crystal. A t39 is a possibility but a 5513 comes originally with a 25-19 crystal. You can save some money if you keep the insert and replace only the pearl. But then again I would put the saved money in a gen plexi LOL. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  6. Very nice indeed. specs?
  7. Lovely. Makes me want one too. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  8. I would suggest to get the PT 1680 and a DG 5513 from the cartel. In this case you have a mid case that accept 26.5mm dial a low beat movement with silver date wheel and you can use the bezel construction including the retainer ring from the 5513 to have a gen style construction. All parts will accept gen parts for upgrades you plan in the future. Or, if you can find a good quality gen style bezel construction you can skip the cartel 5513. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  9. Thanks Alligoat.I think that there is still some space on the guards to do that. I will try it as soon as I can take it off my wrist LOL. Hey S, PM me your Address so I can send you a gloss picture of it LOL. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  10. Now you only need to move to Europe ;-) Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  11. Great effort J. If I may comment on this I would suggest to go .001 less deep than the first try. The .001 deeper version looks to me as too deep. The first try also looks a tiny bit to deep. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  12. Thanks M. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  13. Thanks. It sure does look fantastic under certain light conditions. Someting only the WG dials have.
  14. I am currently building an early 16610 my self. I had the luck sourcing an early Sean case with drilled lug holes and a gen case back (thanks again E). Gen dial, insert is what I have waiting for it. If you eventually want to go for a gen movement I would go for the Y3135. It will be an easy swap and you saved the dial feet. I am on the fence going that route my self, need to safe a couple of month to go the Y3135 route and am not sure if I can wait LOL. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  15. I wonder if it would make sence to invest in a Yuki case? Anyone out there that went with a Yuki case can comment on this? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  16. Thank you for the nice comments. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  17. Nice, very nice. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

  19. Good idea about the 2click stem. Need to try that.
  20. Yes, the 2846 is the commercial version of the Swatch in house 2840 and works fine. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  21. That is the spirit. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  22. A final word on this. I bought 2 complete Swatch watches to try out the movemens. Most importand part why they don't work for us, there are no holes in the main plate to atach mounting screws for the little clasps. So in the end you cannot secure the movement to the case, so a 2840 is a nogo. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  23. Great ingredients to cook with. Let us see the end result! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
