Sorry for the late response. Just recovering from medical surgery (nothing bad)
This is actaully the easiest relume of all relume on watches. Just 10 min work. And the result is fantastic. Indeed, it will look 95%+ gen after this, I had a gen dial to compare.

This one is nice and miles ahead of the H-fac Fc diver.
Complaints I have on my H-Fac FC diver are:
Bad (no) AR on crystal and cyclops
Yellow colored indexes on the inner bezel
Bad, very bad movement
You what stupid is, we still need to buy it, with all it flaws. Otherwise they will never make a H-Fac V1 FC diver LOL.
Don't know if there is an official bracelet for it? I could not find it.
But I really like my watches on a bracelet. I had a couple laying arround and after some modding one did fit.
What do you think?
The GS cement is not hard enough and will wear off even harder than the 5 min epoxy I used. Try to find the hardest epoxy or other glue you can find to fill up the gap. I never made a secret of the fact that I used epoxy to fit the XV bracelet on the XVI case.
It is a great fun camera. You can use all sort off 16mm lenses. Here I use a Fujinon tv zoom lens on its macro position.
Off coarse there is a very small part that is in focus but with some fantasy you can make great pictures off watches ( mine is not one off those LOL )

Thanks S. So, now I would like to get directions to mod this to perfection, if possible. What would you change, mod? - dial opening? To small? Worth changing? - crown? I think it is good but not gen. Need to change? - Insert? Good enough? - hands? For me the biggest tell, need better hands! - dial? What gave it away as a Yuki? - crown guards? Yes, fat but too fat? Specially for a late model? Cheers
Wow, you guys are good. But, still some parts not mentioned. Here is the break down: - stock, old MBW case. Only mod, drilled lug holes - stock mbw crown - stock mbw bezel assembly - cartel insert with cartel modded pearl - Yuki dial, relumed - mbw hands, relumed - Gen 25-19 plexi
I did build this 1675. The problem with the bezel not miving is the very cheap shitty material the bezel assembly is made of. It is soft like butter. So the moment you press it over the crystal it disforms. So bad that the bezel has to much friction after you install it. The glue i used was only between crystal and case, UV glue to be precise. I did this to ensure water resistance. I cured it with a special UV lamp. I guess due to the high friction of the bezel on the retaining ring it came off all at once. It is an easy fix though. Specially if you have the right tools. To get that bezel turning won't be that easy. It is the last time that I have used the clark assembly. Next time I will try the WSO one.
Hi Ryan, that is quite a build you are planning. But I think that a 16800 Franken is relatively easy to make. Gathering these gen parts is very well possible if you look at the right places. First I would skip the clone movement and opt for a 2824 movement. TC sells these. You can order the correct hands from him aswell. A good 16800 case can be bought for small money from (pm me for details). A clark crystal with gasket is good enough. The bracelet i would go for, for starters, TC V2 clasp with V3 links. You can always go for gen in the future. Gen Insert, dial are a must. You can either choose for a TC crown or a gen crown. Good luck.
Still missing some parts! I had a broken 2836-2 with GMT movement once but all I recovered is the GMT canon pinion. Need to search for an old, broken/un-used movement that can act as donor.
Yes, this should work. The retainer ring only attaches to the crystal. The bezel only attaches to the rataining ring. As ling a gen crystal fits the middle case you can use the MBW bezel assembly.
