I wanted to close a deal on a watch through interwatches (gen).
Since the watch (Rolex) has no papers I asked if it was serviced or if they would be willing to ship it directly to Rolex Geneva where I could pick it up. The feedback was that services was not required since all watches have been serviced.
So I agreed ot the deal in case the following conditions where met:
My conditions:
I agree to the deal when:
* The serial has been checked with Rolex, and the serial is not listed as stolen
* The watch has been serviced and is running within CSOC standards or Rolex specs.
* The watch has no damages, other then normal hairline scratches, which are not visible in the pictures
This was the feedback:
After testing the watch throughout the weekend, we came to the conclusion that it is not performing in accordance with CSOC standards and we understand that this may not fulfill your expectations.
In order to find a watch that will comply with your needs and requirements, we recommend you to buy a Brand New Watch directly from Rolex .
I have now asked to sent me the test results, which I will sent some of the guru's here for feedback.
But was I really that rude to ask to confirm that the watch would be running within specs after service?
