  1. Telling from the pics the crown size has not changed. The only difference I see in the triplock dots - they are bigger...
  2. Very kindly described... @jmarin.72 You have a lot of reviews here about the SSD, and there is everything listed... But here some issues: Crown too wide, Crystal bevel wrong, eched crown too big, 5 min hour markers are not thicker, date window is too small (too quadratic), Pearl is off, lume not strong enough, SEL's are wrong, CG's wrong shaped (or better said they need a shape), rehaut too wokky, I guess from the pic it is a SSD V2, so the Bezel is OK - if it's a V1 the bezel is wrong. And of course your hour hand is not correctly positioned... But this can be done by a local watchmaker (or by a modder here from RWG who is maybe in your country) without problems. And don't worry, this failures can only be spoted by a trained eye or a direct comparison, so wear it without fear! EDIT: A pic - your vs. gen, so u can train your eye...
  3. Why you called out that as a problem? It has be done like it has to be - hollow! And who carries a electronic balance in his pocket to spot a rep? There are maybe always a few gramms up or down on a rep, but I think there will nobody care about!
  4. Today my heavy modded Euromariner:
  5. You maybe don't want to hear it, the list will be long...
  6. A gen 16610 is 140g. My Euromariner is 138,7g, and as a A-series model it would have some polishing in past - so it's a perfect weight. But with the ring I think that the watch is too heavy then...or am I wrong?
  7. That's correct! I don't knew about it... Every day some new surprises...that's Rolex!
  8. That's what I asked myself, I thought the crown position is now fixed with that movement...
  9. Congrats to your new watch, and wear it well my friend... Always the same, one step forward and two steps back (I am talking about dial and crown)... The movement is also not my taste, but if it runs well...anyway - nobody can see what is in the wach! And you are right, it's maybe the best out of the box sub available! For our members which are not so slick and have not tools and the knowhow it is the best grab around. I will pull out my Euromariner Sub from sale now, because I don't see any reason now to sell it. Maybe on the WM9 is not so much to do on, but I invested in mine a lot of time and money to get it on that what it looks like - so I have to keep it and wait for maybe something better to come out...let's wait up for the BK WM9-Mariner, maybe there will be some improvements.
  10. Do it, mine is on the way...or...do you want to be the last on the train?
  11. Nice watch, congrats. BTW, are the EL's gen? If yes - which ref. No. they have?
  12. I owned from trusty the latest model before the Ultimate. It was the so called "5th generation". The dials were similar from size, only the lume was on the Utimate stronger. BTW: Here is a shot from my PO:
  13. The left dial is from a 42mm version and the feet position is for ETA movements, the right dial that you relumed is from a 45mm version with feets for Asian movement...
  14. Good news!!! I worked the whole night now on the scan, photoshop etc... and the file is ready for printing! Now I had to find only the right material and it can be started. Also I need a tool to cut the wheels out... Here is a pic from a print which I have done on photopaper with my inkjet - of course only to test the size, not for mounting it in a watch... It seems on the pic as a poor work, but the file is 3000x3000 pixel, absolutely clear and the numbers are all with feets like on gen. With the right printer it will be a amazing work, and our watches a step closer to the gen... BTW, I will also make modern wheels for noob and gen dials, because the noobs have the date window a bit too far to the right...
  15. I think he means the Sub movement which is not on the pics on the WM9's site. Here is a Bulova auction with the ETA 2678: LINK
  16. Thanks! I would never give my Sony DSC-T100 away! Macros are possible from 0,7mm and up! It's an unbelievable camera...
  17. And again some updates: Bezel gets a new sunbrush, and the CG's are now shaped to correct size, they were too big... BEFORE: AFTER: HERE CLOSE UP PIC OF THE LUG-BEVEL: THIS PIC IS BEFORE THE SHAPING WORK, BUT IMO A VERY NICE ONE: Thanks for looking...
  18. You put the watch in the night off??? And I thought my watch would get a good new home...
  19. Thanks! I think on the new WM9 it will snap correctly in, like I can see on the pics. The previous model also took a gen inlay by snapping in, but unfortunately it was not deep enough.
  20. Thanks my friend. Yeah, it was a lot of work. I don't expected such modifications on a watch like this, which is presented here as over the top rep. But hey, we love watches and the communication here with some great guys on this board... and that is the point!
  21. This should be a nice toy for the next coming James Bond movie...
  22. OK, let's start: Some of you come near on the point, the others not - ant that's good! First to say, I spent a lot of time to build this watch, because nothing went like I wanted to go! The gen tube and crown are the only thing that was to install without some extra modificatins. The first sticking point was to found SEL's which can be used. I tried it from all models, but only the CN SEL's were close to the holes (and to the gen with the wide opening). But the CN bracelet is not good, the first few links are too big! So I took a SSD bracelet and I brushed the sides, also I changed the last link to the clasp from foldet to the small link. The clasp is the best what you can get on current rep-market. Only the inner clasp has to be changed to the correct one with 93250 stamps. The stamped last links I took from a noob too, with 93250. The next problem was the crystal gasket system, a gen gasket don't fit without a modification of the retaining ring! That took a lot of time to shave the inner side of the RR to 100% to get it pressed over the gasket/crystal - a few
  23. What are you trying to tell us with? Did your watch after the mod from BK get gen?
