True, but with this crown - not the modern! (it's the 24-703-0, sure, but with the vintage coronet!) At least here in Germany by Rolex Cologne! Don't know about USA...

It's the modern 703 you have there, so it is not really correct for an old 1680! But you can find some gens with the 703 new style coronet. This would be the good one: And the "over the top" for a 1680 would be this twinlock 702 crown (this was my crown, I've sold it on ebay for around 300,-€ , now I know it was a mistake!), they are going up to 500,-€ in NOS condition: EDIT: HERE is only the crown without tube on the bay for sale...

You have good eyes my friend, but I can tell you that even on the gen they don't line to 100% up...

Thanks guys! Of course the Olympus is gen. And I must say, the AR is amazing on this one - it seems to be light coated, but the crystal is absolutely not visible! It's unbelievable! I've seen some gen Blackbirds and Evo's, and the AR is on these very blueish...like the reps are! Or maybe there is a different effect of the AR on white dials... The pics I've promised will be posted tomorrow...thanks for looking!

The crown on your SD is not for your model! But OK, if you think so...be happy with it...

You maybe should use a modern crown, that one on your watch is a vintage crown...

Gen ETA, date font also OK - but not a clear print, like the most overlays. BTW: The ETA wheels are on Rolex models with correct date-mag position (like yours) not used, there are other overlays glued over them.

Try to ask your local watchmaker, he has for sure some laying around. I always get spare parts from mine for cheap.

Be careful with the hands, they are very lightely to bend, espacially with the second chrono hand...the sleeve from it can stay on the pinion, you need then a new hand!
