  1. The accutron is and was a very advanced watch! Too bad is too small for my wrist!
  2. No problem.......we were all newbies once!
  3. Actually ,there isnt a specific "cool" brand or type ,choose what fits you face best! The thing too look for is the lenses ,make sure they are gen and have all the UV ratings. Now there are some nicely made ones but most are typically built the same .........most sunglasses brands are built by LUXOTTICA an Italian brand (yes even Rayban is owned by them) http://www.luxottica.com/en/eyewear-brands If you choose to gate a pair for driving try to choose with polarizing lenses........they help allot cut out glass reflections and road reflections from the sun. Cheers.
  4. You can post in the trade area in the want to buy section here : http://rwg.cc/forum/70-i-want-to-buy/ Make a new post and ask what you want . If you want to make a sale post it in the Watch sale area. Cheers
  5. Looks smaller then a 44mm ,when compared to a pam ,but its a loveley design! I am sure its a high priced watch!

  14. I think Lumbee is right. Online course is for understanding how things work an are ok for basic knowledge. But watchmaking is very delicate and requires allot of hands on practice! Yes it a fun process as you progress more into it........and you need an eye for detail!!
  15. Did not know about it but googled some info! Thanks!

  23. If your watch is water resistant to some extended.was its with mild soap and water ,dry with a towel and wipe the glass with a cloth like the one used to clean glasses, lenses etc. If you watch has dirt.usually on the back from dirt or sweat you can use rubbing alcohol alcohol with q-tips. Also a microfiber cloth, like the one we use fro lcd screens can be used. Never use napkins, kitchen paper etc since paper can sometimes be rough and scratch soft metal polish. I clean the glass parts with a glass spray cleaner i use for my glasses, got it form my optician store .Works like a charm and doesn't destroy AR coatings etc and its very cheap (about 1-2 euros)
  24. VERY VERY BAD TASTE!!!How to ruin a watch ,,,,,,,
  25. I got a DB master 2000 with eta 2824 (2000 meter with HV valve). The very fist that came out 4 years ago.I got it to use as areal diver to avoid abusing my Gen watches. So far it has proven to be very reliable.Dont know abou these new ones propably the would be good as well.
