Angus is sending me a 3135 clone to tear apart!
Watchnuts replied to Rolexman's topic in The Rolex Area
Can't wait for the tear apart! -
I don't think it will bother you too much when you finally get the watch. It,s usually very tiny flaws.

They are on vacation until jan 3rd.

It's Breitling. Cool strap by the way.

Screwdriver for APROO bezel screws
Watchnuts replied to bertieng's topic in The Audemars Piguet Area
A guy on a different forum used a PAM watchband tube and a dremel. Looked very easy to make. -
Breitling Abyss sufferig from weak crowns
Watchnuts replied to Rolexman's topic in The Breitling Area
I would agree on the crown. It never feels good when tightening the crown. [censored], now you got me all worried. -
Isn't the AP v3 supposed to have factory superlume?
Watchnuts replied to sneed12's topic in The Audemars Piguet Area
Angus said it does, but is website does not mention it. So, not superlume! -

The only thing what bothers me are the hands being totally off. The hands make the watch IMO.

Do i feel something new is about to be released?

Review of Breitling Windrider Chronomat B01
Watchnuts replied to By-Tor's topic in By-Tor's Watch Reviews
Thank you for the review BT. I'm looking for my next fix. Steelfish, Seawolf and Heritage versions are impossible or hard to find so I'm looking for the next big thing. Saw one at Costco for 5,5k the other day on rubber and it is slowly growing at me. Still have not made up my mind but I really like your review, matter of fact I like all of your reviews. Do you still have your B01? -
I voted for the Navitimer. I got a gen Old Navitimer II in 2002 and now it needs service. After I found out how much Breitling charges for a service I started to look for "Alternatives". That's one of the reasons why I'm here.

Watchmaker Tools at Dealextreme.com
Watchnuts replied to Francisco's topic in Francisco's Reviews And Tutorials
Thanks for the listings. The tweezers are really good. I got the Weitus #812 and #814 and their plastic ones. The finger condoms are good too. But the screw driver set I do not recommend. The tips are junk and with tiny rust spots. Very rough and uneven. Two sizes are double and 0.5mm and 0.6mm are completely missing. -
Thanks for the review. It's a cool watch and I always wondered how the quality is. How is the A2836 movement holding up?

BT, I'm new here and without your fantastic pictures reviews and insight I would be nowhere. I always loved watches, bought my first Roles DJ from my first salary. Got a Breitling from my wife and than I needed something new after several years. Bought a few boutique divers and collected a few Invictas in the meantime. But these where not really the watches I wanted. (Sold already most of them) Having a family now stopped me from buying the real stuff. Now with having my first rep on it's way I feel rejuvenated. I love to tinker with things and this is exactly what I'll be doing with the new watches. Things I would never do with a gen. I already have a big list of tools I have to get and all thanks to you oldtimers. This is all fresh for me and I'm really excited. I already spend countless hours on this forum into the early morning hours. So thank you and all the other guys who made this forum work. I really like it here!! Andy
