  1. I heard that you can superglue a hex nut to the case back and then use a socket wrench to remove. You can use acetone to get the glue/hex bolt off afterwards
  2. I completely forgot, you're very welcome! Glad to see it getting some use, and to see so many people finding love for these truly unique, timeless beauty's
  3. Most of them don't have their original red triangle inserts left, I love a nice old faded insert, yours looks great! I would rather have a slightly incorrect but gen insert than a period correct rep insert.
  4. If you call yourself a tv repair man and take money to fix a tv, then return the tv not working and keep the money, that's robbery
  5. Not surprised, all of his 6538 watches on the bay have refinished dials that he claims are original, we had a bit of an email war until he disappeared after I showed him irrefutable evidence Shady character
  6. No I'm sure he has his own to test fit but to be safe why not have him install it all for you, he's great. I've never had an issue sending him anything.
  7. Hey bud, if you can reach spinmaster, he can do it for you. spinmaster91@gmail.com Gl!
  8. Looks really really good. All red gmt hand is a sweet touch, congrats The difference would be the tropic with no cyclops, right?
  9. T indicates tritium which was the lume used before luminova took over, it basically means that the watch is a bit older. They stopped using tritium in the late 90's. I am a rolex guy so I don't know if that particular model of iwc was ever made in the 90's. The ones without the T are later post 2000 watches. Hope that helps
  10. I kind of worked him by asking if it would be ok to send my project off this week, I knew he would respond to that, once he did I replied ok thanks and by the way did you get my friends parcel, so he answered. I guess he's quick to make sure he gets new work but slow to respond to you for work he already has.. Sorry to hear that but he was gone for a month and is prob super busy catching up. Don't worry, he's a champ
  11. Ok, well maybe check your junk mail, sometimes I lose emails there. I'm sure it will work out, he will most likely tell you the caseback can only be a 59' so choose the serial and tell him what you want it to be
  12. "Yes I have his package and working on that plus he has 6538 case we are engraving now all be done and be ship next week Phong" So here is the reply, I think all is good just probably forgot to email you.
  13. No problem, I would wait, you have the right email and I have asked him just to confirm receipt of your parcel. Let's see if he answers you, I won't send mine off (was going to in the morning) until he confirms with you.
