  1. Great job W (and of course R and everyone else involved), I hope this thing will come to happy end - production. regards
  2. Looks good t, in my opinion bevel should be little reduced, and teeth should be a bit "sharper". About brushed or polished I'm not sure, maybe some gen crown owners could chime in. Does this mean that all new crowns will be with 0,5 depth ? I surely hope not ... regards
  3. Congrats to you and your wife, and I'm sure with that kind of love and support going on there, things must go well. I'm sure we'll be seeing some triple-baby wristies from you in no time. My hopes and prayers will be with you and your newborns. regards

  10. Charlie: Excuse me, Lieutenant. Is there something wrong? Maverick: Yes ma'am, the data on the MiG is inaccurate. Charlie: How's that, Lieutenant? Maverick: Well, I just happened to see a MiG 28 do a... Goose: We! Maverick: Uh, sorry, Goose. *We* happened to see a MiG 28 do a 4g negative dive. Charlie: Where did you see this? Maverick: Uh, that's classified. Charlie: It's what? Maverick: It's classified. I could tell you, but then I'd have to kill you. From one of the best movies off all times - Top Gun (1986) -- Connor MacLeod: Hey, it's a kind of magic! (Highlander)
  11. Here you go, T-crown with stem cut for 44mm case regards
  12. T, would it be possible to produce certain quantity of 0.9 6497 stems together with crowns, so anyone who would like to use your crown for hand-wound PAM, just buy additional stem from you. That way you would cover all basis. I'm quite sure that stem extender will not work on 44mm cases - there just not enough space there to put stem extender. regards
  13. Definitely can be done for sec-at-12, but not easy swap, and very questionable how much it makes sense. I remember that The Zigmeister used to do this for HBBs, but he stoped after while, because mod to swiss movement was quite hard - and remember that HBBs movement have just one post (chrono minutes) transferred from 12 to 3 (three quite simple gears added). You will end up with "Swiss" movement, but it will contain bunch of asian parts, including very problematic modification of transferring running sec to 12-o-clock position. If your watchmaker can take care of this part of movement (see Franciscos section about this), rest of Asian sec-at-12 movement is more than satisfying after thorough cleaning and service. regards
  14. Great news T ! I was hoping someone will do this since your original production of T-crowns I think it will be easy to compare measurements of different tubes. I'll try to take measurements on cartel and DSN cases I have, this weekend(hand-wound and autos). regards
  15. Nope, swiss base does not solve anything, because modification is still same problematic one. regards
  16. Some more free ones: MyWatch (lot of info, pictures and some animations) IWC Bell & Ross AirmanClock DEWITT JLC regards
  17. DSN 028a on Dirk PAV ... I can't get this puppy off my wrist for last few days regards
  18. Welcome ... opusti se i uživaj
  19. It has regulator because it's low beat (21600) A7750. Nevertheless, rotor is nice indeed, I hope they will start introducing this kind of rotor bearing on all versions of A7750. regards
  20. This here is actually Big Bang King you are talking about. I guess there are few reasons. First, I think gen is also powered by 7750 derived movement, and using movement with same dimensions makes it much easier to have all other measures exactly as gen, i.e. to have 1:1 copy. And, like Toad already said, it's obvious that "makers" get these kind of movements with very good conditions, because they love to use any 7750 variant in all reps. Last, I'm sure there are some three hand movements that would suite this case, but would struggle with driving such huge central seconds hand. regards
  21. Last time I spoke to him was on 5th, and he told he'll be "out of office" for around three weeks, so I guess he should be back by this weekend or next week at latest regards
  22. Actually - no story It's rep crown, but I really have no idea where it came from, I've gone through few cases and watches in making of this one, from different sources - and I really can't remember where this crown came from ... Yup, words can't describe it, his work on dial is pure art - and in addition, it glows like a torch That was my first gig with R&J and now I can't stop ... regards
  23. For sapphire I would be in for at least one, if price would be modest (~US$100) then two. regards
  24. I am charged for gift payments if payment is done from CC, whenever I paid from my PP balance I didn't get charged. regards
