So, you didn't have to cut the pinion itself, just replace one cap with another - did I get this right ? Fantastic work BTW, it is bothering me for long time, but making new cap is currently beyond my capabilities If you happen to make extra cap or two, and decide to sell them, let me know regards

Well, both strap and buckle (rep or gen, doesn't matter) should be 18mm - just take caliper, measure both, and you will know what the problem is. Just to mention - there are two versions of rep kevlar straps for Top Gun - one came out on fist version, and another on "V2". There is huge difference between them, strap from "V2" is almost gen like (fell, softness, quality), and first version is pure rubbish - I have both, so I speak from experience. regards

I have two rep cases with tubes that I modified to accept gen auto crowns, but I don't currently use them - and I would like to use your new crowns on them. And, I would really love to replace existing crown tubes with ones that fit your crowns tight and nice - so, my question is can these be bought from you ? regards

Does anyone know where to get canon pinion (actually its full name is free canon pinion) for non-chrono auto PAMs with 7750 movements. Trouble with this one is that it should have "closed" top, as opposed to regular 7750 canon pinions, that have "open" top to accommodate for chono seconds post. regards

Well, special stem will be necessary for 6497 (hand-wound) watches, all autos have 0.9 stems, so I think it's not so big deal. BTW, do you have any idea about price for crowns ? regards

Lot of parts on DSN Fiddy are "wrong", but currently best you can get out there on the market. Of course you can wait for some modded or old-school EL version to come for sale, but you must prepare that these don't come cheap. As for SWISS MADE, it should be engraved on inside of caseback - meaning you can see it when you remove caseback, not really something you should worry about. As far as I'm concerned worst thing on current DSN fiddy is CG. I just bought one, and when I compare it with ELs 217 CG that I had, it is terrible - but since I couldn't get anything better for the moment, I'm happy with it. regards
