  1. Took Rubinho for a walk today. Quality and beauty of this watch amazes me, again and again, every time I wear it regards
  2. Swiss powered, The Zigmeisterfied 212 on Panatime black gator for cloudy wednesday (excuse for the noisy photo, I just took it using phone): regards
  3. OK, I'm not exactly Rolex guy, so maybe I miss something - but what in the world makes this movement more expensive than 2836 clone (+ US$130), or Swiss 2836 (+ US$40) ?? Appearance of the movement in closed caseback watch ?? Maybe if it would really function as 3186, but based on: "Note : GMT Independently Adjustable" I somehow doubt regards
  4. OK, guys, apart from not being rep (I can't belive that some of you actually fell for this one) this is also NOT Top Gun, its Cerramic Doppel (ref.3786) special edition. EDIT: Ups, or maybe it is Top Gun eBay listing calls it ref.3799 and lists size as 46 mm ... well nice pictures anyhow, probably will never be reped regards
  5. Here: Looks good, except that it has U Black case-back, and accents on dial and bezel should be more orange-red than saturated red, but maybe it's due to Josh's pictures, he does usually over-saturates them ... but lets hope it means U black is coming soon: regards
  6. I'm in ... c'mon guys, get those remaining 9 tickets :bounce: regards
  7. One more thing - datewheel does not look very good, and this one will not be easy to replace with ETA DW - since this is lefty it needs to be upside-down ... regards
  8. Hmm, it seems to me there is no black print on the dial (Ar sign, and scale for small seconds) Other than that, looks good. It will be interesting to see if they did modify chrono minutes counter to have 60-minute scale. regards
  9. Well, not even that - 79320 does not have ETA-style regulator. regards
  10. So, I noticed today King has put up new (at least it looks new to me) version of TG. And strangest thing about it is movement picture: Looks very much like gen movement to me Twins and Angus have latest V2 versions with 28800 functional regulator A7750 version. regards, Ivan
  11. Just wanted to post the same thing... Looks good to me, seems they got seconds hand right in first attempt on this one. How do you mean hi/low beat ? It is ETA or Asian 2824, just like gen, 28800 anyhow. regards
  12. Wow, man, this is really great work. If you decide to produce this plate, I'm interested in getting one. I have lot of screws and wheels in my parts boxes, so I need just the plate If you will not be producing it, do you have some blueprint or something to share, I have some friends that work with CNC workshops, maybe I can work something out. Congratulations again ! regards
  13. OMG, five hundred fathoms, what a beauty, and it even has display caseback BTW, did anyone notice there is no Rollie in this collection ? regards
  14. Well, there is reason for that - upgrade to supporter or platinum, and all your problems will be gone
  15. I think that if you pay from CC, you still have to pay fees, but you can choose will you pay it, or you will pass it to the buyer. If you pay from PP balance, then you can avoid fees by using this. regards
  16. Great write-up, thanks. I would guess rep is heavier than gen because of the movement. Since I've had one of my sec-at-12 movements serviced, and held just movement in hand, I must say it's one heavy piece. Much heavier than regular 7750. regards
  17. Hmm, if you can't put up a link to scam site, how do you report it/warn members about it This section is called "Auction & Scam Sites" isn't it ? Not trying to defend anyone, just being curious ... regards
  18. Yes there is, and that is exactly what I'm afraid of . It is used by B&R chronos and Grand Carreras lately, and it so much thicker than 2894 (like ubi explained) that these watches are MUCH thicker than genuine counterparts - and that is visible on B&Rs and Grand Carreras - check comparison here. Of course there is always hope that movement "makers" will come up with 2894 clone - i.e. build chrono module on top of Seagull ST26 - although it seems quite unlikely, sec-at-12 also seemed unlikely two years ago regards
  19. My 3717 on Timefactors 22mm black NATO regards
  20. I guess he meant tachy ring (it's separate from dial), not bezel. BTW, @Jurgenk, you don't really need any special screwdriver for removing bezel, I managed to do it with just pair of straight tweezers, and regular screwdrivers. regards
  21. Sorry to disappoint you, but I would say that watch in first 3 pics is NOT gen - probably position of crown and pushers look gen-like because of angle of photo. Look just at size of hour and minute hand tubes on this thing, thickness of print on 6 and 12 subdials, and of course position of date window. AFAIK, all rubberclads still have 2326/2840 movement, so chance is very small that position of datewindow would be significantly different on different series. regards
  22. I hope Titanium case for regular ROO chrono will be made one day - and then correct JBB regards
  23. For sure reversing wheel and the ratchet wheel, escape wheel, balance assembly, all for 7750. I recently had one double corrector on 7750 fell apart, so maybe that would be interesting. I always use regular ETA 7750 stems from usual sources (Cousins, Ofrei) and never had any problems. regards
  24. Thanks guys, I've been looking for strap for TG that will work for me for long time - till I've found this. I got idea from lani and his red stitched strap - thanks mate, hope you are getting better. I got it from my local supplier, he distributes watchmaker supplies, and has a strap maker he works with. After few months of my begging, he ordered for me one batch of BP style straps from his strap maker. This one was with white stitch, and I got it restitched to red. Unfortunately there are no any more straps left from this batch, I just bought last one recently for friend of mine (also member here). regards
  25. So, while still deciding what to do with my V1 TG and should I bite the bullet and get V2, I got myself custom made big pilot style croco strap with red stitch. And I love it See for yourself: regards
