  1. I just wanted to comment on that line - "Made with 2 Genuine Watches as Sample" I think I know what they mean - it's made with two gen watches, because they put one on top of another and they made a rep that thick : Compared to gen: And, is that green/blue datewheel ?- it's supposed to be white on all models.
  2. Yuk, there are so many nice Zenith watches with El Primero 4000 - how the *uck did they choose this one
  3. Speaking from almost three years of watch-opening experience - forget about this low-price tools, usually they are good just to butcher your case-backs. Since I got my self sticky-ball I haven't touched any of these - like eBay item #190252942788. regards
  4. Porsche looks sweet, it would be my choice of these two. That shiny PVD on Chopard really kills it for me. Just to add, Porsche is not quite similar to gen, but still very nice. It should be PVD coated titanium, and should look like this: regards
  5. Price is set - US$78 Crazy ... It does cost more than two non-modded movements ...
  6. Let's wait for a price, maybe this modified one will cost as much as you payed for two you bought
  7. I just noticed Josh put up spare BP movements for sale, still no description nor price, though. But it looks like DW is already raised: Since I still didn't open up my BPs I'm not sure, could someone with experience chime in regards
  8. There is also some strange fascination with chrono watches, if you look at reps being produced in last year or so, for every three-hand watch produced (I'm talking about "super" reps) there is at least five to ten chronos produced. For example, it would be much easier to produce ETA based AP ROO non-chrono - Scuba, for example - and I'm sure they would sell loads of that, also Blancpain Fifty Fathoms and many more. But, they are always going for chronos, making all kind of strange, often dodgy mods to A7750s - and we buy them regards
  9. Wow, great find, thanks ... back in '96. we used to go to Trieste to do shopping, and 110.000 lit was price of pair of Levi's 501s (100 DEM back then, or 50
  10. Yes, that would be sweet ... but I somehow doubt. Maybe if makers decide to produce one of new ROO models (26170TI.00.1000TI.01), that has Ti case, and then upgrade Kill Bill with Ti case. regards

  12. Great write up Francisco, like always, thanks. I have on question for you - I have sec-at-12 movement with broken running seconds gear (one that has post for small seconds hand). Right now it's impossible (at least for me) to get this movement alone, but I was wandering if gear like this can be found in any other modified 7750 movement (sec-at-3 or sec-at-6), because we all know our Chinese friends like to reuse parts So, since you taken apart lot of these movements, can you help me with this ? regards
  13. Can you tell us what dealer has case w/mineral for $25 ? regards
  14. Yes, I would say so. I think new dial and case set is very good, I have used it in building my franken with swiss movement. I used rotor and hands from old version, but everything else from "Ultimate" version. I might snap some pictures during weekend, with close-ups of dial, and will post it here. regards
  15. Anyone have idea is it possible to source parts for sec-at-12 movement ? Or maybe entire movement ? I need just one gear, the one that small seconds hand attaches to. Any ideas are appreciated. regards
  16. Man, why do you keep shouting all the time, whats your problem, is you CapsLock jammed or something ??? Nice find there - they except only WU payment, that should tell you something Let us know what do you receive regards
  17. Ah, finally ... funny thing to me is that now faux PR hand is now on number 7 ... Why in the world was problem to put it on last tick-mark, where it should be when movement is fully charged regards
  18. Yup, this is as good as it gets Unfortunately, not very popular Panerai model among "rep-makers", at least compared to 111s, 127s and such. Last version of 212 is a bit better, at least the numbers look better, but movement rotor looks like *hit ... http://www.jpc8118.com/00000pn21201-1950-f...bph-p-4985.html regards
  19. Wow !! Nice, congratulations ... if these are your "quick crappy" pics, I can't wait for slow good ones Thanks for pics, despite all the flaws, I still think it's one magnificent rep. If you'll be able, side-by-side pic with regular ROO sec-at-12 would be very appreciated. Also can you check is strap size on lugs same as regular ROO, i.e. will it be possible to use ROO straps on this one ? regards
  20. Yes, and from Kings pictures it is obvious that bezel is correct, brushed on top I was afraid if that was correct. Also dial is definitely skeletonized, and plate is visible, so some mods in that area will be possible. I must get this baby soon ... regards
  21. This is one nasty looking watch, can't wait for some quality pics, but I think I'll have to get it ASAP Because, not even plain 7750 have visible hour wheel, and I don't think it's possible to drill top plate (I mean top plate of regular 7750) in that way. Only thing that could be done is putting fake gear (and possibly some screw heads) in that spacer plate on moded movement that has no other function. regards
  22. Whoa, so we might get BTR 1911 with proper subdial spacing ... yipii regards
