It's a crappy sub cased SD. Look how thin the bezel and caseback are.

Paying it forward....This place is great!

You might want to edit your original post! Some noob will do a search and find this thread and think it's OK to do this....

My last order from Josh was Jan 12th (before CNY) And I didn't receive QC pics either. I ordered and received an email with my tracking number that said I would receive QC pics in 2 to 3 days. 4 days passed and I never got them so I did exactly what the OP did and checked my tracking to find out that the watch was sitting in customs. 3 days later the watch was on my wrist. I chalked it up to CNY and the fact that they had to rush to get it out of the country before the shutdown.

Looks pretty fishy to me, where are the pictures of the watches? Only one picture of each watch? I know if I was making a "superclone with clone movement" I'd have a dozen pictures from every angle to show how nice it was?? I think this is a big scam...

Could be a lug hole hole drilled incorrectly or a bad springbar end? It could probably be corrected with different spring bars if it is the cause Are you planning on modding this watch when you get it? If so, the lug holes need to be drilled out anyway so nothing to worry about if you're going that route.

The valve on the Deep Sea operates incorrectly. It is a known weak point on the DSSD. At least the earlier versions.

I'm personally not saying that the HEV is GOING to leak....I'm just saying (like Jkay) that's it's just another HOLE in the case that COULD leak a few years down the road if the seal goes bad or deteriorates. Although in regards to this watch it doesn't really matter because the HEV doesn't go through the case as noted by watcher...

Justin where do you get the bracelet? I know a few dealers sell them but I've been curious of their quality....Is it good?
-
I say Yes.....The bevel on the date window looks good. But I'm no expert....

This is one I HAVE TO HAVE! I love the 5513 anyway and with gen dial, m'ment, etc, etc.. It's PERFECT! Congrats on your build Star

It looks great watcher! Did you take any metal off the rehaut when you polished it? I for one am kinda glad the HEV doesn't go through the case, it's just one less thing to seal/epoxy to keep from leaking. The HEV don't look too bad either. It could be a little more flush with the case but no biggie...

The golden rule --> my gilt dial 5513; fresh off the bench...

Lovely, you just need to slightly vintagize it.... -
Noob Factory GMT IIc with incorrect hand stack (the only it comes) is what I would buy....
-
Are you referring to the older GMT II or the newer Ceramic bezelled GMT IIc? If it's the ceramic model they are pretty good reps IMO.

What is the best available dial with fat markers and fat hands?
duke1973 replied to MacTavish's topic in The Rolex Area
Best bet would be to just buy the complete Sub LV, the n00b factory model has a nice dial and hands. They can be had for under $80 used. The n00b version I have came with a hollow mid-link bracelet also instead of the solid mid links like most. It's a pretty decent rep out of the box minus the CG (crown guards) and pearl. -
What do you guys think about this Submariner?
duke1973 replied to jerome123's topic in The Rolex Area
Looks good, but crappy lume is to be expected from a rep. The reps I decide to keep and mod always are sent off for a relume first. IMO, bad lume is one of the biggest tells in rep. People will say "who sees your watch in the dark anayway" the answer is, not many, but the ones that do would know in nanosecond that it was a rep! -
TC Submariner Housing Gen 3135 & Gen Parts (Part I)
duke1973 replied to tc670207's topic in The Rolex Area
I think someone said TC just left for China a couple of days ago. So I bet that's why he's not answering. -
The end link numbers look good! The actually look stamped instead of laser engraved like the other reps. Usually those end link numbers look awful because they are laser etched and look burnt, like the laser was too hot during the etching process.

Superlumed 1:1(so called) Sea-Dweller 16600 short review

Good to know, I'm glad you epoxied that one because it's just one less place to leak. -

If they said they are the same watch then the cheaper option IMO. -

The HEV on this watch looks just like the older SSD, it's dark colered and appears to be 2 pieces. (big inner/small outer ring) like the real one. I think Eprhy said the SSD I sent him has a working HEV that does go all the way through the case and can actually be pushed out a little from the inside like a real one.... I just hope if this one is for looks only that it's not glued in, I can see after water, dirt, gunk and everything else from daily wear gets in there that it might cause the glue to weaken and the thing fall out? -
