I know how you feel. I got a very stern talking to (followed by ~1 day silent treatment) after spending $400 for a new Breitling. Now I am very close to spending $450 on a Patek Philippe and I'm kind of scared it might prompt WW3.

This is clever. Kenberg you're wonderful.

This weekend I will be wearing the beautiful Patek Philippe Nautilus from the one and only Narikaa.
-
Go to www.patek.com and look at the 2008 Reference 5165. The replica is 1:1

I hope she feels better prince!! ProTip: Steal things from the hospital like disposable cutlery and sterile band-aids to save money later on!

I know that but as a replica it is more accurate regardless. The old one had much more flaws... probably why it was such a poor seller and rarely seen here on the forums. If they made the price a little more approachable this one would be a hot seller like the Nautilus. That is FACT.

The size is correct because this is a rep of the 38mm 5165. A much less desirable watch than the big brother jumbo version. Yes the price is utterly obscene. When I read it would cost $550 and then another $40 for shipping USD I almost puked up my breakfast... that is mental hospital level crazy. Sorry, I love Patek Philippe, but for that kind of money I can get something a lot better than a rubber strap 2824-2... a little more and a nice ETA 7750 based gen in fact.

Women with mens watches (or bigger than womens sized)
Corgi replied to knex78's topic in General Discussion
The look depends on the woman. Hillary Clinton would NOT look good in a PAM, but she does look great in a two-tone lady Rolex. Flip this for celebs under 30. However, if a woman is, let's say, hefty in size, a large Rolex might do the trick but still anything bigger than 42mm would be a stretch. Overall I'm a strong believer in that long-lost traditional mentality that women should dress like women and men like men. -

The movement is the only thing worthwhile about this watch, and the dozen-or-so variants currently being produced with the exact same design except under the label of Breguet, VC, Patek, AP, Lange, Maurice Lacroix, etc. These watches turn a huge profit for the manufacturers because of the similarities between each. The possibility of mass production is a no-brainer. I guess they are just running out of ideas. It's a good quality watch, just with a really silly branding. If they had invented a Swiss-sounding luxury brand name I think it might actually sell... the design is decent and the movement is robust.

I love this phenomenon. Back in Poland I used to sleep beside this big Russian wind-up alarm clock. The thing could be heard down the hall... ticking away. I found it so soothing, just a mechanical doo-dad doing its job. Granted, it was a little uncomfortable the first few nights, but the key for me was not trying to tune it out but to listen and pay attention to the ticks. As soon as I started incorporating the noises I heard around me into my imagination falling asleep become a gateway into experiencing some really vivid and memorable dreams. Just last night I had a pretty fascinating dream... it was so real it's like I was there. The human mind is such a masterpiece. My job often requires me to memorize verbatim text, and most of the time the pages I know quickly fade away after I stop practicing them. But sometimes, even months after long forgetting something, I can "read" it perfectly on the "page" in my dream. Like seeing a photo. Other times (rarely) I get lucid dreams. These are my favorite. Oh You wouldn't believe how these things can improve your life. There is nothing like waking up from having done the impossible. How did I get talking about this? It's 11:21 PM and that is my cue to exit, before I say anything more dumb!!

I'm with this guy. I don't set the complications on my watches either. "When you're too rich to care what time it is" -
Why does every post end with a blank post from something/somebody called "googlebot" ?

I'm digging my fingernails into my palms out of jealous rage. Congrats on the home made super duper rep.

I spotted a fake BCE in a respected watch shop!

Inform them of course! Perhaps they will give you a discount in appreciation or maybe even a gift. You could also buy it and then sue. At least, if you lived in America. -
Nice AD to let you take pictures! That is an absolutely incredible dial. The roman numerals and color combination is just phenomenal. Pure class.
-
Holy crap. I am SO buying that. Contacting Narikaa now..

Please please please, can somebody rep this?!

It would look nice on a lady I think. A nice lady watch for ladies... with some lipstick and a nice purse- it is the quintessential montre femme.. I'm teasing but this is really more of a "dainty" Cartier watch - the Santos is more appealing to me personally design-wise.

I really don't think you need to worry about this in any country, except Germany. Nobody cares (or will notice) if you are wearing one replica - on your wrist no less. That is just silly. Besides unless you're wearing Rolex or Omega then it is highly doubtful a low-wage customs worker bee will recognize your luxury exclusive haute horlogerie... "Halt! The wristwatch you are wearing is a fraud! The crown is clearly too thick and the rehaut is too deep. Please turn around so these officers can put on hand cuff and escort you to the local precinct under the charge of fake-it-till-you-make-it"
