For me it's the blue version or nothing. The black w/ rubber strap is very good looking though... but I've always wanted the blue one. The polished middle link bracelet looks really nice with this particular watch. The Asian 7750 day/date is never perfectly aligned. I would have preferred the standard date version, but what can you do... I'm not complaing now when they finally did this.

Yeah, it's definitely printed on the old version (without day/date). Bummer. It's weird that TAG's official site still only shows the standard day version (without date). Wonder if anyone can find anything other than factory shots of this (supposedly) new version?

This watch needs to be on a bracelet. That rubber strap is utterly ridiculous.

Wow... finally. Actually this looks quite accurate. But WTF is that rubber band? No thanks. I'll get this one as soon as the bracelet version is out. I also noticed it has day/date. Is that a new version... the old ones had the standard date setup.

I'd buy the Ebel 1911 GTR.

It's no rocket science. Just pop off the old pearl... should come off just using your fingernail. Then glue the new one there.

Indeed. It's the only even remotely accurate red 1680 rep dial I've ever seen. This dial source/maker could get lots of sales from this community alone.

Mmm... really nice. $800 was a good deal. I would never change the Link bracelet which is definitely a "must" for this watch... and the biggest draws of TAG for me. It's TAG's trademark and probably their most recognizable and most innovative design.

Hi Victoria. I have a weird love/hate relationship with Rolex. My old man has huge gen Rolex collection... and of course boys always grow up admiring their fathers (in good and bad). I like all the classic Rolex sports models (Sub, ExpII, GMT, SD), but despise their whole gold/dressy lineup... and what Rolex has become (as a brand). It's difficult to say which I like more, but I definitely like Omegas just as much. Something like the SMP Chrono is pretty much "perfect" watch. At least for me. Looks like these Rolexes have gotten more wrist time lately. That's mainly because I've been buying and selling them all the time. I have a perfect Omega collection, now I want best reps of all the Rolex models I've always wanted and be done with it.
