  1. I'm wearing my Seamaster Chrono today. Yeah I know... I should take some new pictures.
  2. Great twins TeeJay. I briefly owned the "twins" too. Now I think I want to buy another orange.
  3. The MBW crown guards and crown are superior. They look horrendous on the "TT Top Grade". Crystal magnification isn't such a big issue. Some aftermarket generic crystals don't have that big of a mag.
  4. Ditto what others have already said. It's outstanding!
  5. I totally agree. People should donate if they can. Labeling people as "second class members" because they haven't donated... or trying to "force" people to donate isn't acceptable (imho).
  6. Admins: Please close this thread. There's already a thread about this: http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showtopic=24335&hl=
  7. I have plenty of Dead boots... and while most of the gigs have their great moments they're usually filled with boring jam sessions (for me anyway). Nothing against Dead though, I respect them a lot. They got their massive live success without any support from the mainstream media (in that sense they were a lot like Rush and DMB). And I love all the songs by Brett Mydland. Very beautiful. They have always been virtually unknown in Europe, so I can't probably fully understand their attraction among the masses. They were so "American"... if you know what I mean... I guess they were sort of "hippie gathering"... and Phish adopted a lot of their old audience later.
  8. Ok... here's my favs. I love live albums. Actually I prefer bootlegs from many bands (Rush, DMB, Zep) but these are my favourite official releases: 1. Rush - Different Stages 2. Rush - Rush in Rio (Maracana Stadium 2002) 3. Dave Matthews Band - Live Trax vol. 2 (with Carlos Santana) 4. The Who - Live at Leeds 5. Genesis - Seconds Out 6. Camel - Pressure Points 7. Led Zeppelin - How the west was won 8. Thin Lizzy - Live and Dangerous 9. Queensryche - Operation Livecrime 10. Pink Floyd - Delicate Sound of Thunder 11. The Who - Join Together 12. Elvis Presley - Aloha from Hawaii (via satellite) 13. Neil Young - Live Rust 14. Fleetwood Mac - The Dance 15. David Bowie - Stage
  9. Genuine without a doubt.
  10. I love the Flyback. But the "Rainbow" version is even more attractive (imho). I understand it's not for everybody though. Enjoy.
  11. I'll go with Chief here: The conical rehaut for me is much bigger flaw than the lowish (but smooth and shiny) on the Nooby. But maybe the huge pics exaggerate the flaw. The Nooby dial is much better too, which is important. I just bought a ETA-powered Noob today... which is (imho) still the best "compromise Sub". By the way: this is not a pic of the Noobmariner. It's of my 2-year old CN Sub (good riddance). Nooby rehaut is higher and smoother (although still a bit too low). PS: That no-date by blkm is magnificient! Excellent job! It could still use no-sels and lugholes to become accurate... no-dates still don't have SELs.

Glad you like it Jeff... I like mine too. Fantastic watch for the price. Here's two more pics (if you don't mind). With "Bond" bracelet:
  13. Excellent work Chubb. Will link this to the Guide.
  14. Will alternate between these two, wearing the PO right now.
  15. Nice choice... enjoy!
  16. Looks fantastic. Great work mate!!
  17. I didn't interact with him a lot, but whenever I did... he was always nice and helpful. And I always enjoyed his great reviews. Many of them were a source of inspiration for me. Definitely would like to see him here.
  18. Nope. I'd never sell a gift. I took the book to the office and I read it all through the day. It's really amazing. Just imagine what kind of effort is required to make something like this. It's Omegas answer to John Brozek's "Rolex Report"... though the modern Omega models aren't covered here at all.
  19. I don't think it looks cheap at all... just sporty and cool. Of course it doesn't go with the suit but if you wear casual clothes it's great. I used to have the 42mm in orange and I kinda miss the Pumpkin.
  20. SMP is very understated watch... very classy (imho) but definitely not an "attention grabber". If you want a watch that gets noticed... get the PO Orange in 45mm.
  21. Uh huh... now those guys look "hip". Here's some more for you: http://www.octanecreative.com/Parodyville/...vers/index.html
