  1. Pics show up just great here in Scandinavia.
  2. It depends... the main issue with rep bracelets is that the SELs won't fit properly, and don't have the correct looking recess. How do you know if the SELs of some other rep will fit to the watch you're installing them into? That's right... there's no way. Reps are not alike, and even the ones from the same factory can have tolerance differences... lugs can be wider or narrower, etc. WM9 v1 SELs are the best fitting, but we only know that they fit well to WM9 watches. How do they fit into some other Rolex rep is a mystery. Noobmariner bracelets aren't particularly great. The SELs are too rounded and don't have the recess, have occasionally bad fit and the clasp engraving is totally off.
  3. Rep blue is always too purple/violet, regardless of the brand and model. Even the blue bezels are always too purple. That's just how it is.
  4. Beautiful! If I ever buy another rep, that might be the one.
  5. Amazing my friend. You always have the best watches. The gen insert alone makes a HUGE difference. For some reason the rep makers can never make the Omega pearl look even remotely genuine.
  6. Yeah... whatever is qualified as "black"... but it's safe to say that the gen dial markers are more black than grey.
  7. This controversial 'Ling.
  8. It's funny... I haven't owned a gold/two tone watch in a long time now, and I always have an "itch" for them... especially when it has been a while. But when I get them, I never have stomach to wear them. Somehow the gold is so "eighties". But then again, TT watches are very beautiful. TT Sub (both black and blue) are very nice, and this replica was very nice. If you want the best TT Sub, try to get the WM9 version. It's expensive but worth it (imho). This one is the second best without a doubt.
  9. That's so cool Cats! I'm wearing my favorite white.
  10. @Dave: If you want a TT Daytona, go for it. But among the collectors it's not even nearly as desirable as the stainless version. But of course that's important only if you decide to sell it one day. Generally, the TT versions are 2-3 grands cheaper in the preowned market. You might want to check out the rep of "Black Widow" Daytona too. The gen is full white gold and I kinda like the dial. Reps are excellent for "test drive"... to see if you actually like the style or not. Daytona is a legendary watch but it's not for me because I think it's too small for a chronograph. Yeah you heard it right, I like my chronographs a bit bigger. The smooth bezel and big protruding pushers makes it wear very small... a lot like Explorer II. I once borrowed Stephane's rep and I was really underwhelmed... I like the styling, it's classic Rolex but not how it wears. After SA and Skyland the difference is huge... maybe too much (for you anyway).
  11. Maybe new Aston Martins and BMW M3's are average Joe cars over there in North America, but they cost a lot here in the old continent.
  12. What conclusion we got from this thread? Rep buyers are extremely wealthy people. When you go to the gen watch forums and browse for similar threads, you'll see much more modest cars. The mystery is: why do people who drive BMW, Mercedes and Porsche top models bother with cheap and unreliable Chinese knockoffs?
  13. Hi Bones, thanks for the compliments. No I haven't owned any of the modern Rolex replicas. I'm not too crazy about the new Rolex design (that fat lugs look) so I haven't bought any of them. I only (briefly) owned the GMT IIc replication. LINK. They're not bad looking watches but (imho) something essential was lost with the new styling.
  14. This WM9 today. I love it (as always).
  15. Thanks man. Not all people like the B01. I guess it takes time to get used to it. I liked it since the day 1.
  16. Yes. His watches are (or were) superior. But I never, ever endorsed George. I never recommended to buy from him. Heck, *I* didn't want to buy from him. I only endorsed two trusted RWG dealers, bklm1234 (v2) and Precious Time (v1) in my WM9 reviews. Both of these guys have pretty much perfect track record and I got both of my WM9 watches from them.
  17. Besides our few longtime trusted dealers, average replica dealers and modders are the sickest people on earth. Cancer, asthma, hemorrhoids, constipation, AIDS... you name the illness... these guys have them all... they get hospitalized all the time. It can also be an earthquake or house on fire... or unexcepted sex change operation. It's weird how these mysterious, serious health problems happen all the time to these young men in their 30's and 40's, especially when they have members' money and watches in their possession. Sorry for being skeptical, but I've heard too many BS stories and excuses why people haven't been able to deliver other people's property. We've also had 100% scam artists like Luckyyy, who first delivered a few watches to members (to gain some trust) and then scammed LOTS of people and walked away with a LOT of money. The admin team has no chance to do anything in these cases... ultimately it's YOU who have to take the risk. It's your money and your decision. I have no idea what happened to George though... but his disappearance is nothing new under the sun. When you buy counterfeit stuff from counterfeit sellers, there's always certain risk that you have to take. The risk is even bigger when you choose a dealer that's not "RWG approved" (like George).
  18. Are you sure BK doesn't carry this one still? LINK. He used to sell it. Basically it's the TT Noobmariner with decent gold wrapping and good crown. It's not quite as good as the WM9 version, but it's the second best. Personally, I wouldn't even consider the MBK version. I had that one too and it's wasn't great. Good luck!
  19. The pic is a little blurry. That's "surprising". But here's the requested detailed photo.
