  1. Carrera Racing on rubber and Skyland... mmm, I don't know why I never bought those. Pretty damn cool watches, both of them. Please tell more about the Monaco.
  2. A non-franken can't get much more accurate than this. Here's mine.
  3. Hi Jet, lots of these vintage TAGs / Heuers are pretty damn nice. The biggest issue with them (as with most other vintage watches too) is that the cases are usually in the smaller range. Some cool ones from my "browsing journey". Here's an old F1 chrono (quartz of course) but pretty cool. I think it's circa 39mm which is a reasonable size. The bezel numbers are worn out but so what... it's vintage. How about this Ti pro 2000 model? It's quartz too however... 38mm. Automatics are way more expensive but you can find sensational deals on quartz. I might get one just for fun. It's funny with these vintages... when the size is over 40mm there's also a tremendous price jump. Same applies to all brands though (Ebel, Omega, Breit, Rolex).
  4. Hi Tristan, you just arrived to rep heaven with tons of trusted, proven sellers and you're browsing potential scam sites. Are you totally out of your mind? Go to the TAG Heuer section and see my Aquaracer review. Buy the watch from any of these dealers. They can all source the same (best) 7750 version. 389 Pounds for that rep is pure insanity. It should be in the $300 range (max). Happy hunting!
  5. Hey, I've been having my eye on the used gens on Ebay.co.uk lately and these vintage Pro models aren't too expensive. I believe most of them are quartz though. I guess I'm not much of a rep buyer anymore... so many cheap vintage Omegas, TAGs and Breitlings out there... It's bit of a Sub clone, yes, but it has certain charm and appeal. I actually like it a lot. Do you know what sizes these come with... and are they all quartz? I'm not looking for these for myself necessarily... these would make good potential Xmas gifts to friends.
  6. Congrats Stephane! JLC is just different class.
  7. It's very simple. There is only one good model of Explorer II. It's black and it comes from bklm1234. LINK Then click my signature. There are 2 major reviews of this model, and explanation why black is the only sensible option. Happy hunting! PS: General discussion is for... well, general discussion. Rolex discussion goes to "Rolex area". Moved.
  8. You guys should come to Scandinavia once... you'd discover a new meaning to the word "expensive".
  9. I doubt I have ever managed to capture the beauty of this watch on the wrist. The blue dial and steel parts simply "sparkle". My Monday choice.
  10. Stay away from that site man. That's "street corner" garbage. This place is a rep heaven... best and most accurate replicas in the world. Why would you spend your money on junk? Check my section for starters (link in my signature)... lots of very, very nice ones out there. Happy hunting and welcome to the forum!
  11. That's a nice Skyland. I've gotten bit of a Breitling bug lately and been considering Skyland. Super Avenger is an impressive watch in many ways (I know how big it is) but I can't help but think how clumsy it looks. Skyland, however, is very nice.
  12. Brilliant collection. Lots of my favorites there.
  13. Simply beautiful. This is an awesome replica. I ownded the Noob version which was pretty good but of course WM9 is in different class. I once decided that YM is not my cup of tea but as usual your pics make me reconsider...
  14. I believe WM9 watches originate from Taiwan. Precious Time managed to get the version 1 and he stated that it came from TW. There was another indicator too... it had exactly similar (inaccurate) green hologram sticker as the ancient TW Best watches from EL, Maria and River. But if sourcing them was that easy, I'm sure all dealers would sell this. I'm sure these are type of replications that you can NEVER find from the street sellers. The production costs alone are astronomical compared to the standard street junk (that 99% of the reps are). PS: If v2 is out of your budget, I highly recommend the v1 version which is still a great, great Sub for MUCH less money. Click my signature and read the review from my section.
  15. Exactly. People who say that "I'll do it all with the lense" make me laugh. They're simply liars, or then their photos are nothing to write home about. All "top watch photographers" are frequent PS users. Every single one of them. You simply HAVE to use it... sometimes not much is required but you need the last adjustments. PS is that very important "last step" that changes a good picture to excellent. Another stupid mistake is to think that PS makes anyone's pictures "spectacular". It's ESSENTIAL to have a good setup and good base picture to work with. PS: Welcome back (again).
  16. Amazing work! Hey... you might want to attempt to do a 1680 red Submariner dial. The MBW dials aren't even close and it's the same thing with all aftermarket dials too. It's all about the SUBMARINER font and color.
  17. Most automatic watches are thick because of the movement. Thin and small watches like Rado were "in" back in the eighties but very unfashionable now. Omega Constellation comes to mind. Personally I have never liked the gents model... it's almost feminine but it'd probably be a good choice for your friend. http://www.perfect-hour.com/omega-constellation-c-58_60.html Good luck.
  18. The watch in the pictures is the same model but as stated before this rep comes with 3 different gold "grades". Of course I don't know what the dealer has in stock now. Good luck!
  19. Can't blame you Watcher... that's amazing. I'm wearing my Bond today.
  20. Yes the new TT Sub is a serious downgrade. The old 16613 blue Sub was a beauty and now they have screwed up everything. Ugly fat cg's and lugs... and the classic TT Sub had a beautiful blue dial, the new blue is unattractive as hell.
  21. What makes you think it's fake? I see nothing wrong with it.
  22. Congrats my friend! I'm not a huge LV fan. That's too bad as it's magnificent replication. But then again that was excepted. Enjoy!
