  1. WEDNESDAY & THURSDAY IWC 3717 on Big Pilot strap
  2. I'm a lad, but I choose this pic as the most artistic Great composition!
  3. Thnx Vlydog. The strap is from strapluxe.com. I wear it on a regular buckle now, but the deployment from Angus is on its way. Note that the strap is meant for the Big Pilot and 22mm, so I had to shave 1 mm off to fit. I'm not sure what to think of the quality of the leather, though. It feels a bit tough and it's a bit shinyer than I expected. Maybe it needs to wear in.... However, cosmetically it really gives the watch a steroid boost .
  4. MONDAY, TUESDAY & WEDNESDAY IWC 3717 on Strapluxe Big Pilot strap
  5. That looks great! @tigerdaytona: I'm in the EU too and send a couple of watches to The Zigmeister
  6. Thnx for the nice writeup and pics, Lanikai!
  7. I think the theme is new automatic PAMs
  8. Here's another pic with a close L Swiss Made L. But it looks like the same watch as Lello's pic. Could this be a preliminary Panerai pic? Wouldn't be the first time they do this....
  9. Hmm, that's a matter of taste. I've seen one in the flesh too..
  10. Most of the wristies I've seen from gen 104s have an open 6. Didn't know there were also versions with closed 6... Here's another one with the L Swiss Made L close to the 6. I think it's the same watch. But these are the only pics I've seen with the font that close. Can we be sure this is a real released product and not a prelimenary Panerai pic?
  11. Does anyone know if the PAM0240 (Titanium, brown dial) is scheduled for release?
  12. I'm returning my Fiddy due to some QC issues and my collector was willing to trade it for the PAM164. So when it's in I'll post my findings and make some pics.
  13. Always good to know your resources, hahaha.
  14. Very nice and compact collection made with a clear vision! And great photography as usual. There's only one watch missing, though........ and they have it with leather too Oops, no decent rep yet
  15. I'm weak on character and broke about every standard I've ever had But some of my current standards: - no quartz - no faux functions - not too much obvious flaws (wrong colors, wrong fonts, mis-spellings, mis-allignments) - no reps of watches that I possibly never ever could afford - no gold - sapphire over mineral - ETA over 21j - no old generation 7750 Lately, I try to buy watches that better match my clothing style. edit: I've tried to limit my collection by not buying more watches than would fit in my watchbox (= 6 pieces). When it was full I allowed myself to have an extra watch on the wrist. Recently I bought a new box with room for 10 watches......
  16. My IWC is still unmodded However, I already bought the ETA day and date wheels and as soon as I have the funds I will send the watch off to K2222 for wheel swap and double AR.
  17. So it's going to be the 16th instead of the 17th or was that a typo?
  18. That's an awesome glamorous wristy, Vic
  19. Funny, I was just sending Angus a mail about the new 164 and 104. The 164 looks as the better of the 2 and is probably going to replace my 21j version with mineral crystal. I'm not sure if the font on the gen is bolder. See pics. Too bad they didn't got the L SWISS L right on the 104. Business as usual... edit: Hmmm, so much for the improved 164. I think I'm going to stick to my 21j version after all
  20. If you're the defendant and not the defender or prosecuter I would stick to a very humble and modest watch or even none...
  21. I have a very unpredictable agenda, so I'll leave the date open and see if I can make it at the final suggested date. Since I live in The Netherlands ,Brussels is only a 2 hour drive so no need for extra arrangements for me. Would be great to meet you guys finally!
