It's always a pleasure to see your pics, Rolli. Thnx for posting!!!
Seeing your PAM089 makes me missing mine That one really looks good on a black strap!
Thnx for the nice writeup and wear it well!
I've already decided a long time ago that a Fiddy will be way too big for my small wrist. But why do people keep on posting pics of this beauty? Tempting, very tempting...
I always wind my (automatic) watches manually. According to The Zigmeister this should not be a problem. Only with 2824/2836 movements one should be careful and wind it gently.
Wearing the PAM0164 on black gator today. I don't know... looks a bit dull, don't you think? This watch looks so much better on lighter straps....
Sorry for the crappy cameraphone snaphots.
@reklamkillen: I've been thinking to get this 253 for a long time. But still hesitating if I like the blue hands. Do you have more pics to show?
Hmmm, I was already afraid of that.... I still think this is one of the best 'dressy' PAM combos.
I'm now wearing a black croq on the 164, but I don't know... it looks way better with the TWB honey tan.....
That's a classic! I have been thinking about this model, but the notorious stripped crown scares me away. Have you had any problems?
And what strap is that?
Thnx guys! Great to see all them black beauties
@bazonkers: may the force be with you...
@Vic: that carbon fibre looks great. Would love to see some more pics!
@deltahoe: that's a gen right? Wow! Or did you manage to source some gen hands?
@dluddy: I wonder how that kevlar strap would look on a 111 or 164.....
These Fiddies look awesome guys!!! Unfortunately they're a bit too big for my wrist. The 44mm PAMs are max.
Must have, must have, must have, must have...... NO, yes, NO, yes..... Pfff , hahaha.
edit:
Hi all,
Need some ideas for PAMs om black straps. I like my PAM111 and 164 best on brownish/tan straps and want some black for variety in my collection. I agree, it's a lame excuse to buy myself a new PAM, hahaha.
So let's see the most stylish black PAMs here!
In the past there have been several topics about the rep buyer's motif.
A lot of people around here either think the gens are overpriced or they prefer the variety of owning several nice reps for the price of one gen. Although there are also some that start with reps as a 'trial' and end up buying the gen(s).
And the date font of the left pic looks similar to the thinner font on the ETA rep while the date font on the right pic looks similar to your reviewed 21j version. Quiet interesting indeed...
I've found some more gen pics. Note the difference in date font and the difference in 'Swiss made'.
By the way, does the 21j-version have mineral or sapphire glass?
