Thats not what I was getting at D4Me. I am saying that it would be one thing for our site to have rules for dealers, but it would be hard to charge these guys with any wrong doing here, because they don't post here. Can RWG dictate what they do on their private sites? I think not. Either we dictate that they post their watches here, or we must break the link to their sites.

Andrew and Josh used to post product, but have let that slide as of late. I think the admins have tolerated that, but it now may be time to re-evaluate the situation. I don't believe the admin her should share any culpability in this matter, although I believe they may have been a little asleep at the switch after the "wight lies" thread.

This should not be allowed. New watches should be posted here, and should adhere to our guidelines regarding format. We shouldn't allow ourselves to be reduced to being a "click-thru" for what amount to a scam site.

You really have no clue do you? In a year from now, when the cartel has cornered the rep supply, and are charging $500 for the latest PO with who knows what movement, don't come crying to me. What do you think about these guys selling a premium service package, and not doing [censored] to the watch? Because that is exactly what they do! Still just good business?

If they had a store in a mall and were selling cheap junk and advertising it as "top of the line Swiss", do you think they would be allowed to stay in that mall? No [censored]ing way! They would likely be in jail If free enterprise means using your muscle to have your competition unfairly removed, having their paypals revoked, and attempting to limit their competitors access to product, you are 100% correct. Sounds more like mafia to me.

I certainly expect professionalism from my dealer. And why the hell shouldn't I? Would it be appropriate for me to scam a dealer, simply because we are dealing in reps? Thats backwards thinking dude. Where do you think their business is coming from? Do you have any idea how many reps are sold from these forums? And do you know what the mark up is on each one? Believe me, these guys are making a pretty good living from this.

As I said at RWI, that would be the perception. IMO, site management has no option but to come down on these guys.

Chris, I agree with your punishment plan, with the exception of Angus. He certainly is not guilty of anything but being a party to the cartel. I think he should be given some kind of probationary sentence. Of course, there's nothing we can do about King.

Guess what, for the short term you are right. In two months people will be saying "Andrew who?". Why would a newb ask for their address? A a newb wouldn't have a clue who they are anyway, and if they were to search the threads, they would find out what kind of thieves these guys actually are. And why don't the "Dishonest 4" post here? I agree 100%. Josh and Andrew have committed a crime. They knowingly lied in an attempt to further profit. I like Andrew, in fact my last 2 purchases have been from him. But, this type of behavior would not be tolerated from a member selling a watch here, and it certainly shouldn't be tolerated from a dealer. I think these guys should be suspended, for at least a months time, then be put on probation on their return.

IMO a dealer rating system is not necessary. Scammers should not be allowed to participate here, period. The honest dealers all have their individual merits, and what may be good for one customer, may not be good for another. Thus, any ratings would be purely subjective, based on the reviewers circumstances.

I have seen conclusive evidence that "serviced" watches from one of the cartel members are not serviced at all. Bone dry! Another fraudulent act perpetrated on unknowing buyers.
