I have had nothing but good experiences with the "cartel" dealers that I have done business with. However, it looks like there is definitely some unscrupulous dealings going on, and I believe they are not taking our community in a good direction. This site was set up as a safe haven for us to buy watches, free of scams and price gouging. It seems that several of our dealers have decided to band together and "fix" pricing. This "collusion" is not acceptable in the business world, and its not acceptable here. Its time to make ourselves heard, and I for one will no longer be doing business with any of the cartel dealers until these practices cease. andreww

Your image is not straight in relation to your reference line. In the image below you will see that although the logo is slightly crooked, its really not that far off.

Thanks Ubi, that really clears things up. I think I'll stick with the silver dial, it really has a vintage look to it. I think the black dial would make the watch look too new.

I love a watch with a story, and this Rolex Milgauss has plenty of them! Firstly, this watch was one of two watches kindly donated by TwoTone from his own collection during RWG's first birthday celebration. I won for my essay "What does RWG mean to me" (see below)

My PO threads are gone. On inspection of the crown tube and crown, I found very little thread at all. IMO, this internal thread system has been poorly carried out. On the bright side, I simply shortened the stem and the watch works and looks great, just no screw down.

Depends if its fast or slow. Fast is more likely fixable.

It was never meant to resemble anything in the movie. Its a special limited edition watch to commemorate a movie. Many watch companies put out special editions, including Panerai (North Pole), Breitling (Various Aviation themes), Omega (Olympics), etc.

Excellent point. Most people do not realize that the chrono hand of this watch moves twice as fast as a regular watch (30 seconds to go around the dial). So, with the reversed subdials, this is a pretty easy watch to be called out on. IMO, if you want a Bentley, go with the GT.

Smart ass eh I posted this after receiving nothing but childish remarks from a number of members after asking a serious question. Not trying to hide it, it was in my original post if you had bothered to read it. Sub4me jacked the thread, as he always does with this I had not said a word till that point to Sub4me. He obviously was rude to both myself and Pugwash, with no intervention from mods. I didn't feel like getting into a pissing match with him so I suggested he look for TTK. You forgot to mention that Sub4me had suggested that a posted image was in fact me with my head up Pugwash's ass. Look, I'm a mid 40s guy in the financial industry. I own a half million dollar home, 3 cars, and have a gorgeous wife and two beautiful children. I think I deserve some respect. I'm sick of guys like you and Sub4me, who think that just because you are on the net you can say whatever the hell you please. Do you think him or yourself would have the courage to be so rude if you were standing in front of me? I think not. If you agree with Sub4me, maybe you'd better go back and join him and his frat house buddies. We all know who and what he is, and he is not welcome here.

Now, I didn't say anything to him. After trying to have a civil conversation these were the responses from the mental defects over there... At this point I say "Is anyone going to say what happened, or are we going to hide behind mindless babbling?" followed by Well, you get the picture. These are actual posts, nothing left out, in a thread dealing with the banning of a senior member. Disgraceful. I guess Sub4me is right, I don't know how to communicate with this lot. Thank god!

At RWI, when you type "Pugwash" it now posts "banned". You are unmentionable dude!
