  1. Can't identify it, but maybe this will help
  2. I was very frustrated with Silx's PO offering. He offered a great deal for the "eta latest version", but the pictures on his site said "to be updated". I'm not going to send money for something I haven't seen.
  3. V, step back and take a deep breath. Your contributions are appreciated very much. Lets not one idiot spoil it for all!

    Po Rep?

non rounded bracelet is pretty obvious as well!

    Po Rep?

Fake. Easiest tell is the thickness of the edge on the dial markers.
  6. go with the Navi. Bentley's are too blingy to be worn with a suit IMO.
  7. In the case of the 42mm PO, I suggest going for the swiss eta version, as the asian version is an inferior rep. The case/crystal/bracelet is different. His 45mm asian has the same case as the swiss and is a nice option.
  8. Proud to be Canadian eh! But, if you read my earlier post, customs do have the right to seize your watch as the importation violates intellectual property laws. The thing is that customs can not do anything with your watch. Only the RCMP is able to seize it. Its this red tape that basically allows you to ship to Canada with impunity.
  9. Hmmmm, should I start posting there again? I'll have to think about this.
  10. An interesting read... http://www.cacn.ca/PDF/CACN%20Position%20P...006%20Clean.pdf As far as I can tell there is no law against purchasing reps.
  11. Actually, the feedback on these has been quite good from guys that own them. The only complaints have been about the strap, and because it is unique to the watch, you don't have any alternatives but to get a gen strap that is very expensive. Its also a pretty large watch!
  12. Really is a tough situation. Its not like Eddie has the cash in his pocket, thus probably couldn't refund it to you even if he wanted to. When his account is unlocked, if it ever is, I would expect him to pay up, but really I don't see any resolution besides Eddie splitting the loss with you. I see that Eddie is no longer dealing under the "Eddie Lee" name, so, like when a business goes belly up, you may just be a casualty of the situation. I'm really sorry dude.
  13. If at all possible I always prefer to have replacement parts over a new watch. My PO has a badly set pearl and wonkey hour marker. I can reset the pearl, and could probably the marker too, but Andrew has agreed to find me a new dial. Besides the fact that there is no way I could live for more than a month without this baby on my wrist, I just don't think the shipping expense/risk is worth it.
  14. Not really a good idea to post customs info. Your two entries have probably given agents enough info to pinpoint your package. Aside from that, it all depends on how fast it passes over the border. In my US to Canada dealings it has taken 7 to 10 days.
  15. it feels like a 192 kind of day...
  16. Play dumb. I trusted the guy and sent cash. Expected a genuine watch and customs bill when it arrived. There is nothing illegal in that. I'm not sure about what the Swiss law is, but it seems to me that you wouldn't want to admit that you had any intention to import counterfeit goods.
  17. Simple, tell them you bought the watch under the assumption that it was genuine. Tell them you will not pay their admin fee, as you've already been screwed enough.
  18. Just to be sure, make sure that you stop the chrono before you reset it. Also, never reset when the second hand is not between 10 and 2.
  19. Thor, I was just poking fun at the Dork Side. I know their 5-Star rating means absolutely nothing.
  20. I didn't think this was the same movement that was in the Asian 42mm. Are you sure?
