  1. Trusty and Perfectclones are actually run by the same people. No worries with them.
  2. I just don't get why they won't put the sapphire/AR in the Asian version? They did it with the UPO Lite for exactly the same price ($128).
  3. Not good at all. All canal street quality junk. There is a much higher standard of quality in the reps that you will buy from our dealers than you will ever find on that site.
  4. As some of you may know I am currently working on a "Breitling Navitimer Guide" that will take an in depth look at all the current versions of Navitimer reps. It is coming along nicely but I am in dire need of reference photos of genuine Navitimer II two-tone models. These seem rarer than hen's teeth, so if you've got any could you please post them here or PM me? Here is an example of the Navi II. Thanks in advance, Andreww
  5. Also the preferred watch of infamous San Francisco area serial killer "The Zodiac". Its theorized that he took his name and logo from the Zodiac Seawolf that his mother had given him.
  6. Stay tuned guys, this has been one huge undertaking as 3 of the 4 current Navitimer rep models have been out of production for 5 years or more. Finding reference pics is a daunting task, but its coming along nicely, I'm learning stuff that is new to me as well!
  7. To me it really sounds like a dirty movement, or perhaps just a need for servicing. You would think that since it will run fine, that nothing is broken.
  8. Actually he didn't. That was the old style Chopard MM we've been talking about. It looks a lot like a Navi though!
  9. Seacrest seems to change watches quite frequently. I tuned in late last night and he seemed to be wearing something interesting but I didn't get a good look. I like Simon's Chopard and I'm so happy that he's figured out how to operate the strap correctly, that bugged me to no end last season!
  10. You are bang on anton, its been discussed here many times. Although I don't see Randy's newest beast on the Ritmo site, I'm pretty sure he wears that brand exclusively.
  11. There are threads inside the crown tube, and inside the crown as well. The crown screws into the crown tube. What happens is, because of the poor quality of the tube, the threads wear away and you cannot screw down the crown anymore. Simple as that.
  12. I got two sets of crowns and tubes for about $60 as I recall. The repair itself is fairly easy (once I found a proper adhesive).
  13. I think its the bezel. If you look from the side you will notice the 45 rider tab does not align with the He valve, nor does the 15 tab align with the crown.
  14. MP3 downloading is alive and well, and living in Canada
  15. LOL, Actually Pugster was responsible for one of the biggest conspiracy theories we have ever seen. Ever heard of "Little White Lies" or the "Cartel" Ms. V?
  16. Lan, this is the only watch I have in my sights right now. I think it is just a beautiful piece, and nothing has got my interest as much as this since I first set my eyes on the Navitimer.
  17. I believe its 36, but I've never measured it.
  18. I think the biggest problem with the current batch of Chrono Avenger reps is that we were so spoiled with the first version. I really think that your pics actually show the current version to be pretty darn good. Maybe not super rep material, but it would still take a fairly well trained eye to spot the differences. Thanks for the gorgeous photos, and did I mention that I love my C.A.?
  19. As long as we are showing our vintage Milgauss', here's mine!
  20. Man, lello would sell a bunch of date wheels if he did a version for the 3-6-9 Navi.
  21. Keep your eyes open for my comprehensive guide to all things Navitimer. Should be ready in about a week, and I take a thorough look at this and all other current and past Navitimers.
  22. Yeah, not really interchangeable. I've got a 2813 in my UPO Lite (4813) case right now, while I wait for a replacement movement. Its too thick, and I can't put a rotor on it, but crown and stem aren't a problem.
  23. Thats why you have a front pocket so close to the most sensitive organ on your body. Think of it as a built in theft protection system, and stop leaving your valuables in your coat
  24. The movement you are referring to is the DG4813 which looks very similar to the 2813, but is slightly thinner and runs at 28k. It is the same movement that was used in the UPO Lite, and the B&Rs.
