  1. I love this version that has a brushed bezel
  2. That one is not a Quartz, it's an auto with faux-chrono : usually Quartz have seconds @6, and if you look at the stopwatch on this model it's not reset @12. Needless to say that the subdial@9 is odd : graduated from 7 to 12, I never understood why they do this. Probably worth 80 to 100 dollars on iOffer.
  3. I think that as some "manipulations" can't be noticed, it's useless to forbid them. Personally, I would say that the result is more important than the way it was realized. Aren't most pictures we see around Photoshopped ?
  4. Don't worry Mademoiselle V., you're still a VIP in my eyes...
  5. You usually can read all pictures datas in the Exif information. That might help too.
  6. Very nice ! Well, the gold is very sexy
  7. Hi, new update on 29th september... - had to resell my VC Retrograding Calendar due to a rotor problem : hope to buy the same asap... - added a fantasy VC Tonneau, with Power Reserve, reviewed here...
  8. Yes, it's supposed to be "grained". But this shape is only present on the ceramic bezel (which BTW is supposed to be a gen part), whereas this "lite" version has a SS bezel, which is PVD coated : it's a good imitation of ceramic, for a probably much cheaper cost. I bought the light version carried by Andrew and Joshua, and it IS sapphire. There's a rumour that says there are two manufacturers. I guess there are just two movements (the 21.6 and 28.8k) and only one case (and manufacturer). Whatever the reasons for the lower pricing is, it's good for us : we're again in a field of reasonable prices for a rep.
  9. Knowing the possible issues with the 21.6 k, that sounds odd I must say. Till now I could understand that the usage of an old 7750 stock helped (to some extent) to offer this lower price. But if you can get the latest Asian 7750 for the same price, what would lead anyone (customer or dealer) to choose the lower beatrate, on purpose ? I'm a bit doubtful about Jay's comment. Maybe this will become clearer later, but for now, I'm just, well, suspicious...
  10. Lite HBB... I've desired the Big Bang for a while... And she's now on my wrist. Worth every buck. Hope she will have a long life.
  11. Hi, I'm most interested in this run for my lite HBB. Just have to find a smooth way to have the crystal popped up, and I'm definitely in. I'll confirm early next week.
  12. Thx, I've been following this thread closely these days Just have to pop up the crystal.
  13. I'm very curious about how it is. Can't wait someone buys it ! Here's my first wristshot... Definitely a chunky watch. It definitely would be perfect with an AR coating. This is surely my next step (for the first time), although it's already great without.
  14. It seems a gold version is about to be sold too. Look at PC site. Don't know though if it's the lite one. Before ordering my black PVD bezel version on iOffer, I asked Angus if there would be a gold bezel version, he told me I had to wait one week and proposed (as often) a preorder. This might be a very good option. I will review this lite HBB this week end, I've now been wearing it for two days. I'm enthusiastic and can only understand and second the foolishness around this rep (love it or hate it, but it's an exceptionnal watch...). Besides, it's my very first 7750, you can imagine how anxious I am Only time will tell if I was reasonnable.
  15. Well, an other manufacturer will surely enable a more reasonnable price for the "full" versions... Would be good. Anyhow, I'll now live with the "official" lite version. I'd like to change the datewheel however. Also, I would love a gold version.
  16. As there's only one manufacturer, I guess they probably use both movements... finally. Can anyone see the difference in movements from the pictures ?
  17. That's probably what I will do : it'll let me time to hunt the movement. Euno : it seems it has the old Asian 21600 bph. I'll confirm when I will see it on Friday. But i'm confused : http://www.silix-prime.com/product.asp?id=1859 Silix says it is 28800... Who's right ? Silix, trying a white lie ? Or the other dealers hiding it's nothing else than the usual HBB without AR and with a lower price ? Mmm...that's worth investigating. I'll take a closeup of the movement.
  18. My Lite HBB arrived this morning... I can't touch it before next Friday as I'm on BT right now :( So I'm pleased to introduce my wife's first wristshot !!! 269 dollars shipped EMS, that is the price level I expected for this rep. A review to come this week-end or next week. Count on me to report any bug on the 7750 with "low" beatrate.
  19. I was thinking the same, but I think I remember BT does not like leather... Maybe he prefers Latex...?
  20. Pix

    HBB RG PC

The RG is my favorite... I'm so sad it's that expensive. I bought a light version, would have loved a RG one...but hey, seems they're not so crazy... So I went for a SS with black PVD version. I'd love a light RG actually... Gorgeous watch you have there...but damn, why do they make it so difficult to buy Wear it well ! And your shots are really gorgeous too !
  21. That's an awesome "heavy" collection...
  22. That's definitely a different design ! I love the way the caseback is realized, I wish there were more reps with this quality. But well, anything over 42 mm is difficult for me to wear...
  23. Actually they did... That's the one which inspired my humble rep... And here's the closest rep (900 USD)
