My first AP and I cannot believe how much I love it. Actually not true I had a 15400 which I just wasn't too excited about but this thing is magnificent. I may have found my Grail at least for now. Funny thing, a lot of watches I don't think I care for that much in real life but can look phenomenal in pictures. This for me was the opposite. I don't love it in pics that much but in real life it's stunning. It's part of a big frankin project and it's going to be so hard to send it away.....multiple times. :-(

I think you misunderstood my problem. The surface of the CG that mates with the surface of the case, and the surface of the case, were not even close to matching. Large gaps were present where portions of the CG were not contacting the case when the CG was installed. The only way to fix this is either file the CG or the case or get a CG that fits better. My point was you need to be very selective and efficient with your filing so that you don't end up with the CG being too close to the case.

Funny, I have the same issue with my 089. CG fit to the case is very gappy. I have removed the CG and strategically filed down the bottoms of the feet which has reduced the gaps but now there only just barely enough room to pull the crown all the way out when setting the time. Still works but jut barely.

I love photoshop and what you can do with it. Just amazing.

I also think you can build a watch you like better than the gen. I have a Franken 3717 put together and I'd take it over the all gen every time.

Holy cow that's atrocious!!! It's not even close to fitting. It's like driving around a Ferrari with donut spare tire on one of the wheels. LoL
